Service

MY CAR WAS BOOKED INTO THE PANEL BEATERS ON THE 26/02/2015 FOR A MINOR BUMPER SCRATCH AND A CRACKED TAIL LIGHT! I WAS ADVISED BY THE MANAGER THAT MY CAR WILL BE READY ON FRIDAY(30/01/2015) AS IT IS A SMALL JOB, AND THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE LIGHT.

I CALLED ON THURSDAY TO CONFIRM, I WAS TOLD MY CAR WILL NOT BE READY AS THEIR WORKERS HAD NOT COME TO WORK. SHE LATER TOLD ME THAT MY CAR WILL BE READY ON MONDAY! ON MONDAY(03.01.15) I CALLED, AND THEY SAID IT WAS IN THE PAINT BAY. I CAN EXPECT IT ON TUESDAY, I HAVE JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE PANEL BEATERS, THE LIGHT THAT THEY HAVE IS THE WRONG LIGHT, THEY WILL NEED TO RE-ORDER THE LIGHT!! AND THEY CANNOT SAY HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE!!

FIRSTLY, I DID SAY THAT I WAS GOING AWAY THE WEEKEND OF THE 31/01/2015, AND I WILL NEED MY CAR! BUT THEY DID NOT GET IT DONE! I ALSO SAID THAT I WILL BE LEAVING ON WEDNESDAY 04/02/2015, WHICH IS TOMORROW AND I NEED MY CAR!!

WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS?? WHO DOES CHECKS ON PARTS RECEIVED? HOW CAN U SIT WITH A PART FOR A WEEK AND NOT KNOW THAT IT IS WRONG??

I AM STUCK WITHOUT A CAR DUE TO OUTSURANCE CHOOSING AN INCOMPETENT SERVICE PROVIDER!!!!! REALLY ******* PATHETIC!!!!

OUTSURANCE wants to arrest me

DO NOT BECOME AN OUSURANCE CLIENT. Outsurance is threatening me with ARREST and/FINE if I do not appear in court for a pothole claim instituted By OUTSURANCE in my name without my permission. It is against the state and have been informed by Jonita the OUTSURANCE legal comsultant that OUTSURANCE will hold me responsible for damages to my vehicle. She admitted that the adviser misinformed me. That my policy becomes OUTSURANCE property in a claim and that OUTSURANCE does not need my permission to institute legal actions in my name. The action is for OUTSURANCE to win back the damages paid out for my vehicle; from the state. So why do I pay premiums if I have to be forced by my insurance company to fight in court for their case? I want to see where did I sign and give permission for this to be taking place? OUTSURANCE lies and is not upfront with clients. 15 years patronage and I get HANDLED LIKE A CRIMINAL!!

Andrew Fogwill from outsurance:


I would like to cancel my insurance due to bad service and Andrew
Fogwill treating me like a piece of shit. I am so disgusted with
everything regarding my claim. This person shouldn't deal with
customers at all. He has no respect or any manners, makes false accusations, don't
comply with his commitments, don't phone back, refuses to give me more
information, updates or feedback. I am not a happy customer and I have
complied to all his requests and all he does is ignore me, or accuse
me of lying, refuses to give me his managers detail or the recording
of his hours of interrogations. he doesn't return calls, he has put
the phone down in my ear, doesn't answer sms's and or e-mails. Treats
me like a criminal, holds my depression against me just not to pay out
my claim. This is an arrogant manipulative, arrogant employee and I no
longer wish to speak with him. I have complied with everything he
asked and still he doesn't give me proof of the accusations he has
made against me and also no outcome with proof of my claim - he is
dragging this situation out as far as possible. I am sick and tired
now of Andrew Fogwill and his pathetic attitude. I will no longer
tolerate his arrogance and miss-treating of a woman client. He is a
disgrace to outsurance. I no longer want to have anything to do with
outsurance and demand feedback and a written document of why my claim
is not paid out (with PROOF).
He refused to show me his drivers license, his vehicle is a mess and
not suitable to drive customers around in a dirt shit whole, didn't
make his appointments, drove over a street curve with me in the car,
he drove without a safety belt, was busy on his phone whilst driving.
Claim number 132063295. Mpho Ratau was also not helpful at all and
Hector Sello Ntswane doesn't have a clue what he is doing, he keeps
on asking me about medical invoices etc. and my claim is actually for
a vehicle accident. Seems like the whole team needs to be assessed.

I am one very UNHAPPY offended excellent paying customer left
without a car for a MONTH now. I don't take Andrew's false
accusations very lightly. This is my 2nd accident since I started
driving and your people treats me like a criminal, without respect,
more like a piece of worthless SHIT, which I am most definitely not.
This type of treatment is NOT acceptable at all.

I will appreciate it if you can urgently assist with this matter

He treats a woman like a piece of shit. He didn't show up for the
appointment & phoned to postpone to later the day & came late again.
He told me straight to my face I am lying & accused me of being drunk
from drinking in a bar in Groenkloof. I told him that is FALSE, I was
home all night. I told him I cannot remember what happened exactly
since my medication makes me forgetful, I had arguments with my
brother & friend & I submitted my meds details which I haven't taken that eve/early morning hours. Lots of info was requested & I complied to it all. He forgot his recording device (suppose also drunk for not remembering). at least this "liar" gave it back to him
He refused to show me his drivers license (dangerous 4 a woman to get
into a car with a stranger). He drove over a pavement at the police
station, didn't wear a safetybelt, used his cell phone. He put the
phone down in my ear more than once. He is rude, doesn't answer my
questions & keeps on telling me i'm a liar. My workplace also gave
video footage. he refused to supply his manager's info or the recordings of his accusations.

Life Insurance Declined!

I am truly disgusted today! My life insurance was declined because I had an abnormal pap smear 8 months ago, not to mention that my Gynae said it will probably be fine when he tests again in 12   months! How can I be declined life insurance when I have never even been diagnosed with Cancer? Yes penalise me financially because I am a so called higher risk but decline me? Women are encouraged to go for preventative treatment to PREVENT Cancer, now you are punished when you do?! Absolutely disgusting behaviour from Outsurance and any life insurance company who encourage women to avoid any life saving screening to prevent such a case as I am now in.

Terrible customer Service

my garage door is broken, Kathy Govender was the advisor on my claim, she arranged with a company to come to my house and investigate. Then She arranged for Thursday 2nd Feb at 2:00 pm for the technician to fix the door. In the morning twice we confirmed with her that they will come as we needed to take leave and she confirmed. The technician never came to my house and when I called the guy to see why they haven't come yet, they said OUTsurance stopped them to come. I was on the phone for more than 1 hour with kathy and other advisors to find out what happened. Isn’t it the company that OUTsurance arranged to come to my house????
It is a shame for OUTsurance that hires advisor who doesn't know their internal process. Katy Govender is a 100% failure to be an advisor she event didn’t not know their internal processes. Only at 3:00 she said she has to send the assessor and she doesn't have the report yet.
My husband called her earlier that day to ask whether assessor should come first or not, she guaranteed that she will definitely send the technician to fix the door for us on that day at 2:00pm as it was arranged two days back.
After 1:30 hrs being on the phone with different advisors and tried to get hold of a manager or supervisor at OUTsurance, finally at 3:31 the so called assessor came and he said the technician will be at my house at 5:00 !!
Those technicians never came to my house!! the garage door still is broken, and my house is not safe!!
what kind of insurance company you are that for a customer that never had even a single claim, you provide this poor level of service. Do you understand the security concern when a garage door is broken??? and what is the reason to pay you while at the emergency time there is no service from you.
You should send your assessor in advance or with the team who comes for investigations. Your company suffers from lack of internal process, unskilled advisor who event’s cannot do proper communications and arrangement with their assessor & technicians and for sure not having a supervisor or manager who can help in situation like yesterday. An unorganized company that definitely cannot be trusted as an insurance company.
At least as an insurance company you shouldn't use advisor who knows her job. Train your advisors!! tell them what to do.
She doesn't know the process, she didn't know that should send the assessor first and then send the quotation to customer and arrange for the time. It is not acceptable to pay you every month for near 3years with no single claim and then you provide us the poorest service ever !!
I am a manager at a telecom company with more than 4000 staff. I already shared this issue on my company Facebook workplace. I doubt even OUTsurance knows about "facebook workplace", but you know what, people are smarter than what you think, I got many comments on my post that even my colleagues had same experiences with you !!
Train your advisor OUTsurance !! Your advert is almost everywhere but your customer service is the worst and poorest ever !!!

Bad service and thieves

I have a third party claim with outsurance. I will never , never advice taking out insurance with them. They are all talk but no show. They even tried making it look like I caused the accident. Not even knowing that there clients driver was at the police station with me and agreed and signed the police statement to say that he was at fault, he drove into my vehicle. Chantel Kok is the lady dealing with my claim, my broker is still awaiting response from her since her last e-mail. There client contated me to let me know that she contacted hr insurance to sort out claim. How sad I that....customer service is super bad....would never recommend them to anyone.

my car broke down on monday afternoon 8-10-2018 i phoned out surance roadside assistance for help after i had to spell street names to the the person then he told me unfortunatly they cant help me i just asked him i just need someone with tools my son can hook the clucth cable in but need to tighten it with a spanner i got told by the manager that his tow trucks got no tools with them they can only tow my car to a mechanic,they could not care if me and my family got robbed killed or hijack along side a dangerous place on the road.so very dissapointed in the so called road side assistance as far as i know plenty tow truck drivers got tools or a spannel in the truck.
