bad service and sales strtegy

outsurance is the worst insurance company under the sun and i dnt ever recomend to anybody when ever i talk to any! i tell them dnt ever join outsurance they fool u into joining them, and when its time for them to pay they jus screw u over and wana treat u like a piece of shit,from my experinces and many more......my email add aessop@mtn.blackberry.com

BAD SERVICE

INSURANCE CLAIM NO. 88147866 - P BUCKLE - I am claiming on another parties insurance for damages to my daughters car which happened on 3 September 2012. Nearly 2 monthly down the line I am still waiting for final payout into my bank account to take the car to the panel beaters to get fixed. I was told that the money would be paid by 7th November as I submitted signed paperwork to OUTSURANCE on 10 October which was only then processed on 17 October.

When I queried the payout I was then told that the forms are now sitting with Management to process and finalise and payment would be MADE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. What crap is this, service is unprofessional and the time waiting is paphetic. No wonder OUTSURANCE need to advertise constantly - if they were a good service provider they would not have to advertise. I am going to put an article in the paper and ensure that I tell everyone I know not to deal with OUTSURANCE. I hope that this complaint is sorted out and not taken lightly.

The consultant I have been dealing with is Phumi Ntshebe. You are just kept stringing on a line and no consideration is given to the person who is inconvenienced.

Put out in the cold- Broken promises

To Outsurance



After Almost Seven YEARS of loyal support and uninterrupted premiums to Outsurance, We have had the nastiest experience from a company that we have praising for so many years.



On Saturday January 19th, we took the family to the world famous Charly’s Bakery in Cape Town CBD. We had parked in a designated parking and left for no more than 40 minutes. We made sure the care was closed and secure and also left whatever “valuables’ concealed in our cubby and under the seat. We had a new garmin GPS system which we were told should not be removed from its mount as it leads to breakage of the mount and garmin. We made sure that handbags and cosmetic bags were securely put under the seat. We didn’t want to carry too much of stuff and we wanted to watch the kids and we hadn’t been to the area prior to this.



It was approximately 12h45 and we felt at ease. Why would we feel at ease? Because it was the weekend, there were quite a few people around and we were INSURED! (So we thought)



Not shortly thereafter, our vehicle was broken into and we were robbed. The experience itself was nothing compared to the treatment we received from Outsurance whose response was one of transferring the responsibility of wrong-doing to us the insured “victim”. Our inchoate response was one of calmness as we felt this situation would be handled in time.



We did the necessary, went to the police station and waited patiently with our three children in a vehicle. We sat down with the Constable on duty and made our statement, making sure that we had followed procedure completely. We even took pictures of the scene and immediately called OUTSURANCE.



I knew I had Out-and-About and I felt certain Outsurance would assist.



Now after the experience I have had with your Outsurance we can safely say that we have been wronged as a consumer. Outsurance refuses to pay for what we have insured and I will now take this issue to the OMBUDSMAN and consumer council for Insurance providers till the public is made aware of the fake nature of Outsurance promises.



All the consultants could explain was “ you didn’t read the fine print”. The sad thing is when they sell you insurance no one explains the fine print and we was never shown the fine print.



We believe that Outsurance should take responsibility and pay for what we have insured and paid premiums for.

How can one sell a product like “out and about” and not pay when its time to do so. The very idea of “out-and-about” gives the insured a feeling of being protected but this was not the case when we claimed. How does one go “out-and-about”, get robbed and our insurance company tells us that we were negligent. Did we ask to get robbed? The consultant said on the phone that the Garmin was left in the open so as to insinuate that we asked for this to happen to us. Is this the stance that one’s insurance company takes? One of broken promises!



On top of that, my window was bashed in, Outsurance gladly paid for a window but not for the smash and grab that they asked for us to put on when we insured the car, what an irony, that your insurance company won’t pay for what they specifically requested- SMASH and GRAB. So we must now cough up more money and this as fully comprehensively insured individuals!



We feel deeply disappointed and saddened by this and now have no option but to look for better insurance as we no longer feel “covered” …..



How can we trust Outsurance any further…? We pray that Outsurance will do the right thing as this has been an experience we would like to forget.

yesterday we put in a claim for a leaking geyser , till now no one has come out to see what the problem .my fatherlaw is with outsurance for many of years . this is not the first time we having a problem with outsurance.

OUTSURANCE MUST HAVE THE MOST DIFFICULT WEBSITE TO WORK WITH. I WANT TO ASK SOME ADVISE AND A QUESTION - WHAT OPTIONS DO YOU HAVE ON THE WEBSITE - ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE THAT I COULD FIND WHERE YOU CAN EMAIL SOMEONE FOR INFORMATION - YOU CAN GET A QUOTE - WHICH I DONT WANT - I WANT INFORMATION. A WHAT IF SCENARIO INFORMATION, HOW AM I COVERED FOR THIS EVENT INFO. CAN SOMEONE AT OUTSURANCE DO SOMETHING AND PUT A LINK IN SOMEWHERE THAT YOU CAN CONTACT A GENERAL HELP DESK AND NOT A CONSULTANT THAT WANTS TO TALK FOR 3 HRS ABOUT HOW GOOD OUTSURANCE IS.

Outsurance is supporting illegal clients behaviour instead of the truth

After going back and forth with an arrogant consultant,I realised that all he wants is for me to backdown from the truth and justice.The only line he feels will make me back down is "the matter will be defended if you take it further. I am sick of it. Your client was negligent.He put people of the public at risk with his behaviour on the road and he damaged my car. Your consultant Refuses to call my witnesses that can verify who caused the accident.I have no intention of backing down when I know right from wrong, what is legal and what is not. Your responsibility as an insurance company is to support the truth.
I have photos,I have witnesses and I have the facts on myside,so just try me and make me take this further to the media and who ever else will listen , Dont try to bully people because you think your big company can cover up illegal behaviour.

car claim

I think people should know the truth about OUTsurance cause this insurance is robbing people, when you are joining them they promise you everything. And I'm talking from the lesson I learn from them. Cause on the 01-10-2016 I got an accident in Cape Town in front of the police station,someone knock me at back when I laid a claim to them they told me that the car value its 80 000 they cannot fix it they write off coz the damage will cost them 56000 an then I said to them they must give it to me back I will fix it myself then they refuse


The person whom they sell it to he said to me he bought it from auction for 45000 really OUTsurance my claim number is 143173844

Fridge repairs

Claim no 155799033 for LG Fridge SN 504KREL00052 GR-L207C10 reported on the 5th October send report trough on 10th October but till today no feedback. Every time I send a E/Mall the Outsurance response through an old claim no 145797332 out can you please assist me. Thank you

I am really disappointed on how Outsurance handled my case and how I see you display an image to people that you care and assist. My claim seems to be not as important as it is a 3rd party claim. My vehicle was damaged by an Outsurance client that pays Outsurance to handle this issues. I would like to get some feedback on this issue and why it is that you portray this image in the public and then treat people like this

I picked up the following
1. The time to get the claim assist and finalised
2. Communication from Outsurance was poor
3. Assistance in general non existing as I am not an Outsurance client and after this don't think I would ever be
4. Damage to my car was quoted to an estimated R40 000. Outsuranbce manage to bring it down to R6000 but unable to provide me with an explanation how they did it
5. Unable to bring me in contact with the service provider that can fix it for that price
6. Not all the parts and labour was covered on this quote (painting of the bumper)
7. Forcing a final settlement even when found to be unreasonable.

Please can I have your feedback as soon as possible in this matter

Third party claim

I cannot believe the horrible service I am receiving from outsurance. Tshaena, lebogang and Joe is.not coming back to me! I am 7 months pregnant and do not need this sstress right now. It was not my fault to begin with so why do I have to suffer. I need to speak to someone that can help me please before this ends up in more than just my wrecked car claim.
