extremely poor and slow service

Original Log Cabin Homes is the worst building company ever! Purchased new windows from them and they promised that installation won't take more than two weeks. Actually it took more than a month and all time when I tried to contact them I was ignored. I contacted this company and claimed for a partial refund for this poor service but I was also ignored. Beware and think twice before dealing with them!

If your lifelong dream was to own a log home, do not deal with this company unless you want to be ripped off. They do not stick with their protocol and keep your money even if you have a terminal illness and request a partial refund to cover medical expenses.

In response to the "Extremely poor and slow service" review - The Original Log Cabin Homes is NOT a builder and simply does not construct these homes. We are a manufacturer of Log Home and Cabin Packages worldwide. As for the construction, our clients can choose one of the builders on our list or choose one of their own. Their agreement with the builder is between them and the builder. Builders are not referred or recommended by The Original Log Cabin Homes. As for the complaint about the window installation, this was between them and the builder they chose.

In response to the "ripoff" review - The Original Log Cabin Homes very much does abide by the terms and conditions of sale within their sales agreement. As for a refund, while I don't know your situation, but when an order is placed...The low deposit given is for the preliminary work such as preliminary blueprints, order processing and inventory procurement. These are hard costs to any company. While the deposit is non refundable it is possible to assign or sell the clients interest in the agreement to another person.

The Original Log Cabin Homes is a great place to work and It is rewarding to see clients enjoy a beautiful home that I may have had a part in. The old saying is "You are judged by the company you keep." - the company / partners The Original Log Cabin Homes keeps should be a testament of their ethics and their work.
