Dishonesty, Poor Customer Service
Good afternoon John:
I have reviewed your concerns and would like to comment regarding them. We always make every attempt to make sure the customer receives the best deal possible before and after the sale. Your pricing structure was actually less than the original advertised price listed on the web which I do not understand the comments in your email. We never refused a mechanic's inspection and in fact encourage customers to do that for peace of mind. We certainly explained that the vehicle did come with only one key fab and may be able to get the valet key from the original customer which was sent to you. We offered several times for you to decide if indeed you wished to still purchase the vehicle and you still wanted to take delivery. We also have documents that are signed at time of delivery if we owe the customer anything additional which you have a copy showing us not having to do anything. Please review your paperwork and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Dishonesty, Poor Customer Service
Hello Todd;
I appreciate that you have finally decided to discuss this with me. I am unsure if you are aware of all the facts on this matter because either you refused to meet with me or nobody told you that I wished to meet with you.
I dont understand parts of your reply but I will outlay the facts on this. The car was initially advertised at a lower price online and when I initially called about the car, only after we brought it for a test drive did Bob tell us the price went up online to a higher price about $2, 000 more, so that they would not negotiate at all on the price but would honor the original price the car was advertised at, so we did pay the original advertised price.
Secondly, how would you know that Manchester Subaru did not refuse to allow us to have the car examined? You were not there. I can assure you they did. The people that were there was Bob, my wife and I. When they refused my wife and I left the office as we were not comfortable buying the car without an inspection along with the sales trick of saying there was a mistake on the price. Only after we were leaving did Bob return from another office saying we could have the car inspected but wouldnt allow me to place a deposit on the car, it was first come first serve. I later looked up your reviews online and a lot of your customers complained about this exact thing, saying the car was incorrectly underpriced, so we were sure there was a pattern here and it wasnt just a once off.
Third item; you absolutely did not make me aware that the car only came with one fob key prior to or at the time of the cars purchase.It was only disclosed the day after the paperwork was signed on good faith and the email I received saying nothing was missing except the owners manual. Again how would you know this you were not present, but I have a number of witnesses to this fact. I also have an email stating the car was only missing its owners manual. The documentation was signed on Wednesday 29th February with that in mind. On Thursday the 1st of March I got an email from Bob saying that in fact only one key was present. I was assured signing those papers the only thing missing was the owners manual. The car was already signed over to my name and registered in my name when this was brought to my attention. On Saturday the 3rd of March I discussed this with Bob in his office and I asked 3 times for you to discuss this with me and every time he left and came back saying you did not want to meet with me. He told me he contacted the customer and the car only came with one key ever, then the plastic key and another key were produced, neither of them were the fob key.
None of this was made clear prior to signing the documentation which you seem to use as your safety net, I also have documentation in the form of an email from Manchester Subaru and voicemails and witnesses to the contrary story which I have explained above. The car was never delivered also, it was collected by myself and another witness on Saturday 3rd March, and they were also present to the fact that you refused to meet with me.
Again what I am seeking if for the smart key to be fabricated by Audi, the keys also need to be programmed and I have told Bob that I would offer to deal with this in my personal time but that I would not be paying for this misleading situation. Should you wish to not offer this as a settlement then unfortunately I will have to seek further legal consult on the matter which I have no hesitation in doing. I have offered a solution and it is really up to you at this point.
My wife and I were purchasing our first vehicle, we had spoke to Bob about a lease vehicle in future, had this not have arisen we would have had no problem in the purchase in the next 6 months of our second vehicle for my wife, my parents also purchased a subaru impreza wagon from there, I just think how we have been treated throughout the entire process has been terrible and at this point we or my family would not be interested in purchasing a third vehicle from Manchester Subaru.
If I can clarify any other details please have no hesitation in contacting me;

Bad businees practices
The owner, Todd Berkowitz is full of crap. Lots of promises and does not live up to his word. Every thing he says is bull crap. Be very careful with paper work. he told me one thing and the numbers changed when I went to sign the bank contract. Then I had the car two weeks and it need brakes and he wanted to charge me $800. The guy is a bum
