Buyer beware
Thanks goodness for these reviews. Makes you think twice and do a great deal MORE research before going to another state for any type of procedure. Thanks everyone!

Buyer beware
I was told it would cost an additional 17, 000.00 on top of medicaid/medicare charges.lol, only to find out they are rip off artist!!!Be aware when dealing with these losers!!!

Buyer beware
Not sure what to think of these reviews good or bad. It would be wrong to assume that all reviews posted on the internet are the truth. I think the real truth would be in looking up court cases filled against such companies. I think I'll research this a lttle further before I decide if the proceedure is right for me.

Careful! Scam!
H ad their so called surgery Nov 07. The whole experience was a nightmare. Had to put up 30k and was assured that my ins would pay the entire amount. Received only 6k. The operation was also a complete failure. Was recently put on SSI disability. Should go to the bloomberg news site and read the story on them. Hopefully we can expose them. Hard to believe a company like this is allowed to continue to take advantage of people desperate for help.

You Are Just a Dollar Sign
I also had surgery there in Nov 07. What a rip off. This place is truly a joke. Needless to say the operation was a complete failure. Had to put up 30k and was assured that my ins would completely reimburse the 30k. After over two years of fighting with ins received only 6k. When I asked them about their assurance they basically said tough luck. The 30k was my retirement fund and informed them of this prior to my deposit. Bloomberg news recently did a story on them and hopefully will help expose them for what they are. You can go to their website to read the story, its a real eye opener. I hope anyone that reads this will take my advice and stay far away from this place. I now understand why there are hundreds of complaints on this and other sites conerning them.

Buyer beware
I have contacted LSI for severe neck, arm pain with headaches. They asked for my most recent MRI's (2) and emailed me the release of information form. along with a request for my insurance info. I decided to research LSI and held of on submitting the ins. info & release form. A couple days later i received an email from LSI saying that they had reviewd my MRI's and that I was a perfect canidate for their surgery. I want to knbow how they got ahold of my MRI reports without a release of information. Has this happened to anyone else?

I am glad I read this
I am really glad I found this site. Luckily for once being a poor person I could not afford the surgery that they said I needed from my MRI report that they had. They did tell me that they needed 18,000 up front to do the work on me but my insurance would not cover it. Knowing that I simply tore up all their literature. Today however I discovered from a friend that I could petition my health care providers to pay for it and I was just going to email the Laser Spine Institute for another information packet. This site saved me. I feel so bad you folks I could cry. You did however help me out and steered me clear of those quacks! I would sue them if I was you and get a good attorney to handle it.

Failed surgery
I did research LSI before I decided to do my surgery......so I thought I did. Now I am reading more bad than good about them. I wish I had never had the surgery done on my lower back. I was called and told that I was a perfect candidate for the surgery. I spent all day in the facility getting paperwork done and tests done for several days. Had to do another MRI and x-rays while there too. More expense. While I thought that the pain I was in was bad it is NOTHING compared to what I am suffering from now. It is a million times worse. I knew something wasn't right the night I came home from having the surgery. My pain intensified so much. I told them that and they kept telling me that I had just had a major surgery and that some pain is to be expected. I kept explaining to them that it doesn't feel right but kept being told the same thing. Then I was told to take 4 Advil 4 times a day. So lets add stomach issues to the problem now. So I was told that it could be months before the pain went away. Well my pain is worsening. I have pains in my legs and hips all of the time now. I can't sit for more than a few minutes before the pain is so intense that I can't stand it. I have issues from the waist down now....all sorts of pain. I sometimes have problems when I am driving and turn to see what is behind me. Sometimes I hurt so bad it hurts to walk. I haven't been able to return to work since I had my surgery in July 2015. I HAD a desk job in the medical field. So people please beware. You may walk in feeling like your pain is bad but I am hear to tell you that it can be worse. They make sure of that!!!!!!

Cash up front....and lots of it!!!
PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.
I had 2 separate locations on my lower back done by the LSI with no improvement.
Almost 40K dollars gone. All hype and no substance.....just a lot of lies on their commercial on TV. They can afford it!!

What a crock...
I called laser spine institute about surgery...My neck had a previous surgery and was fused in 2000...The C4 and C5 were fused...Neck is herniated again...Herniated between shoulder blades I think and lower back is messed up...I have medicare and AARP supplement through United Health Care which is supposed to pay for 100% of what Medicare doesn't pay...I talk to a person who says for 2 operations I have to pay upwards to $60,000 because they only accept partial payment from Medicare...I ask why in the hell I have insurance for if I have to pay that much? I tell her I am not a rich man and hang up...This place is a rip off...So much for their credibility...
