Not only does Rabbi Gaveriel Ogugua take from the poor, he is also a liar! Below is an email from him on 12/6/2011. I'm still waiting on my $2, 300. I've sent him my account number twice. It is now 90 days since I deposited my money in his bank account. It is apparent that he is used to this sort of attention as he has been arrested before for stealing from a Florida school per info obtained on the internet. The following is a copy o the email I got from him: This letter comes to you as an official notification that as per your request, the amount of $2, 300.00 being investment amount deposited in our account on 9/19/11 will be refunded to you axactly seven business days from today.
Please send through a reply to this mail, an account number domiciled in the United States of America where the said amount will be deposited for you.
All business deals require a certain amount of trust and forebearance for it to be successful. Unfortunately you lacked both qualities with regards to this transaction, so we have no other choice than to refund you your money as requested. Obviously you wanted to earn a one hundred percent return on your investment without the neccessary courage to bear the high risk of success. As a courtesy to you, if you change your mind within the said seven days, you may still be able to participate fully in the deal under certain conditions.
I hope as professional business people we will come to a quick and amicable resolution of this matter in a civil and non accusatory manner.
I look foward to your response and may God watch between you and I on this matter!
Yours,
Rabbi Gavriel Ogugua.

As of this date, Rabbi has given me nothing but the run-a-round and has not returned my money. He states that his actions were out of love, and I agree. It was love for himself and the funding he needed for his community center. He took advantage of the fact that I was not working and needed money. Four months now and I'm still out of my money.

Rabbi continues to refuse to return my money or show any good faith to return any part of it, although he has the bank account details. About two weeks ago, he had one of his friends call me to convince me to negotiate a payment plan with Rabbi. His friend also told me that Rabbi claimed he was scammed and apparently the money is indeed lost. He may also have borrowed money from his church and is also having a problem with that as well. Personally, I don't see the need to negotiate with him as all he needs to do, is to send whatever money he has, which would show good faith, since he knows my financial dilemma. I have difficulty understanding how a Rabbi, a Man of God would knowingly leave anyone without the bare essentials of life. I believe that his intention was merely to secure enough money to pay off the Florida school system he is charged with defrauding and take care of his other needs.
