Steeling money in a legal way

I booked a flight for me and my daughter October 31 to fly on Nov 2nd, but things came up and I canceled the flight and I had to pay $75 per person a cancelation fees, then in the same night I wanted to re-reserve the same flight which I canceled and I called customer service for justly company, they said we can not help you by refunding you the cancelation fees even if you are looking to reserve the same flight you have canceled today. I felt so stupid that I reserved flights with them, and from now on I will just work with priceline flights cause they have free cancelation 24 hrs and I feel it is more convenient for me and I will not loose as much as I lost with justfly.
