Very, very sorry that I became their customer
It is true it is not their job to educate you, read your warranty and educate yourself. Many jewelers I have been to have rude, condescending sales staff, the latest example being Fred Meyer jewelry where I took a watch in just to have tthem remove the back to put a battery in before Christmas, ( spent an hour trying to pry the back off myself with no luck) still haven't gotten it back and still steaming over the rude service and attitude of the saleswoman.

Fake gold and horrible customer service
My spouse and I had bought 4 rings, wedding rings and bands, from jb Robinson. We were told and given information about the rings and were told the diamonds were all the same quality and did the test on some stones showing us the quality. They told us they were 14 carrot gold and would never change color. 6 months and my rings are turning yellowish like a rusty ugly color. My spouse's rings also turned the same color. We went and spoke to the store manager named George, huge husky white guy, and he an his co worker stated white gold gets like that and if we are under warranty they can replace the plating. Plating?! Since when were our rings plated? When I told him I just came from a jewler who is a good friend of mine and tested the stones, which btw the last stones were cheap diamonds, he informed us that white gold shouldn't turn such a color. George states white gold doesn't exist and our friend is a liar. I stated how he is selling nothing but lies and he shouted we have 28 lawyers so try me. I couldn't believe it. We not only got screwed but received shitty rings we are still paying off. Horrible! Just horrible!
