They're a rip off
THEY ARE TOTALLY A RIP OFF! DON'T U EVER GO THERE LOOK FOR PEOPLE'S INFORMATION. THEY JUST WANT TO MAKE MONEY RIPPING OFF AND PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION THAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR.
THEIR WEBSITE IS A SHAM!! THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING AND STEAL MONEY FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD BECAUSE THEY NEVER GIVE YOU A REFUND EVENTHOUGHT U R NOT COMPLETYLE SATISFY WITH THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDE.
CUSTOMER SERVICE PPL TRAINED WELL TALKING VERY SMOOTHLY AND CLEVER NOT TO GIVE YOUR MONEY BACK.
THEY KEPT SAYING NO REFUND WHAT SO EVER AND OFFER ANOTHER FREE SEARCH FOR NOT GIVING MONEY BACK. HE SAID THAT'S THE ONLY THING THEY COULD OFFER EXCEPT MONEY BACK. BUT
WHY SHOULD i WASTING MY PRECIOUS TIME TO SEARCH FOR OTHER PPL'S INFO FROM THEM WHICH i DON'T EVEN SATISFY WITH THEIR SERVICE? i CAN IMAGINE THERE SHOULD BE MANY PPL GOT RIPPED OFF FROM INTELIUSL.COM AND GOT MAD AND WALK AWAY WITH 0% SATISFACTION.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM EVEN IF IT IS CHEAP $0.95 SERVICE! IT JUST GONNA MAKE YOU TO PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE FOR NO USE.

Unable to contact!
Intelius is a scam. Just used it. I am a landlord who rented to a woman, who was sentenced on a felony charge on Dec. 22, 2011. I know her address, I know she has a record, I know all the details except for what her sentence was. Intelius gave information that there is no criminal record...I know it is quite possibly her 3rd. felony. I also know they had the correct name and address for the person I needed to find out about. NO MISTAKE OF IDENTITY. They kept wanting more money from me just to find out ...THEY HAVE NO PUBLIC RECORDS INFORMATION!!! I am getting this scam out in the open to everyone I know and on face book!!! Going to call them tomorrow to get my money back...I'll write more on what happens. I am sick and tired of rip off's, hands in my pocket, stealing my money and giving no service what so ever!!! THIEVE"S!!!

The problem with Intelius is that it does not provide what it is asked for. It tricks its customers into a long time "membership" without their consent. I took extra steps to make sure I do not become member. I checked twice on everything I ordered, but...it DID NOT HELP! Intelius tricked me anyway. I ordered ONE TIME "people search" for 39.99. Intelius billed me 10.99 instead, and MADE ME ITS MEMBER anyway! Sounds familiar? That's because, Intelius does it all the time: IT IS A FRAUD! That's all.

July 2011 I made a name search with a credit card payment $2.99, the information I got was out-of-date and helpless. Last week, I noticed a credit card auto withdraw on my bank statement $19.95 so I looked back to each monthly statements and realized I have been charged $19.95 since last July to now, I called Intelius, talked to someone in India, he told me there will be no more charge. How can they do that? How is public justice look at this?

THE SERVISE I RECEIVED WASN'T WORTH THE MONEY I AGREED TO PAY EITHER. LEFT ALONE THE EXTRA THEY CHARGED ME! "HOW CAN THEY DO THAT?" I DON'T KNOW. THEY DO IT, THOUGH. AND...SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT IT. MAYBE THE GOOD IDEA WOULD BE TO START A PUBLIC PETITION ON "CHANGE.ORG" ?

Yes they have ripped me off. I went there payed $.95 then was charged $4.46 got nothing and found out I was charged $19.95 on 2/5 another $19.95 on 2/8 then another 0n 3/5, 3/8, and now 4/2, 4/3. I called several times even got a confirmation number still charged. Now I have a refund for 2 $19.95 charges but it seems I will have to fight for the rest of my money. I called and canceled in February, March and now twice in April.
I have had to cancel my card so no more charges can be debited from my account.

I signed for their $0.99 promotion but I never signed for those 2 $20 charges for identity protection!!! They promised me the refund for this but never provided me with it. They are scammers!

The one time search they offered was supposed to cost 4 dollars but they have charged me an additional 15 bucks. The phone number they provided is actually a free chat line. What a shameless scam!

This company has several offers but all of them are fake! Do not trust! All this business is a lie and they have many negative reviews in the Internet, because many people suffered from them. If you still want to use their services, think twice!

another internet scam
Do not trust this company! They offered me work at home and I purchased their free trial for $3.99. Well I didn't like it and I forgot about them but time ago I found several unauthorised charges from them. I never received a refund after I claimed. Total scam!

They just did not leave us alone and after a week of constant calling they took $20.00 from my account without any warning. I wish to speak to a representative of this company now, but they won’t pick up!

unauthorized charges
I found at my bank statement several unauthorized charges made by this company. The problem is that I never made a deal with them and never heard about the, I found their contact details and tried to contact them but it seemed that all details were fake so I had to cancel my bank account to prevent future charges.
