Fraudulent Transaction
That is surely a trick. We get emails like that all the time saying your tax account has bounced or your password needs to be updated, please send $400 so we get you $40000 from some far away place... they are all tricks. Real banks and such do not send emails of a confidential nature over unsecured connections or texts like that. When you enter the site they get your real account numbers, then you are in real trouble. If you are worried about it, just call your credit card company and confirm it is a scam. If there is a charged, tell them you are contesting it since it was not you and cancel the card right away. You should not be liable but...I do not know anything about how things are done in India, that is how it is here.
