24 hr grace period
The 24 hour grace thing is a big scam! I woke up, checked my balance and saw I was in the red so I immediately made a transfer. The next day i had 3 overdraft fees. I thought maybe they would drop off or be adjusted the next day so I waited to call the bank. When nothing changed the next day, I called and was handed a bunch of BS. I was told my check was deposited but it was "pending' so it wasn't considered a deposit. The charges I made with my debit card, which were also "pending" were paid immediately to the merchant so - get this- even though they were "pending" they really weren't. So..."pending" is only used in their favor. I'm changing banks this week.

24 hr grace period
You had an additional withdrawn item come through your account on 11/14 that overdafted your account again? Sounds like someone needs a to teach this bank a lesson. Why don't they have 24 hour ATM, online or phone banking to transfer funds. At least offer free overdraft transfers from your savings account or offer checking reserve. What a scam. Banks should call us before they post our authorized transactions.

overdraft protection - opting in
Credit card (Visa orMastercard debit cards) refunds may take 3-5 business days to post back to your account. Preauthorizations (gas or restaurants) fall off after 3 days or when the merchant submits the receipt, whichever is sooner. Too bad the beer store screwed up. What is their name?

24 HOUR GRACE PERIOD
24 Hour Grace period isn't for real unless you have been banking with them for months or years. And the alert that my account went negative was the day after the automated debt came through. I thought you got a warning first, then you had 24 hours to fix it. So I pay the fee, and the representative tells me that since my account is newer that I was not entitled to the 24 hour grace period. Well hello people.....I'm new because your advertisement sucked me in.....and now you aren't going to honor your advertisement....which now makes me not want to be a customer and have now posted a complaint about you. I'm going to look for the Vice President, CEO, etc.... and see if I get any results.

overdraft
What they also don't tell you is the 24 hours grace period doesn't only counts on Debit items. I had 3 checks go through the same day. Got charged $37.50 per item ($112.50) because they returned the checks as NSF. I called and was told it is their discretion whether to pay or return the items and if they return them, they can charge me the NSF fee. So, I ran to the bank to cover the 3 fees in my account and bring it to the positive. Hmm soon as I put the money in they ran 2 of the checks through again (very next day after the returned them?) There was enough money for 1 of the checks but not the other so they returned it again resulting in another $37.50 fee. for a grand total of $150 in fees the week before Christmas. I have sent messages and basically was told it's there discretion and since they returned them I am not due any of these fees back. So off to the bank again to deposit more money to make account in positive again. the check they keep returning is $15 and it has cost me $75 and it's still not paid. Needless to say as soon as the checks clear that I have out this will not be my bank any longer! Very, very misleading advertising.
