Hijacking my account
I'm at home just getting off work and I hear a knock at my door. It's two salesreps from Hiko Energy. I listen to the offer and I always find these guys suspect just because when you want someone to sign a contract and try to hurry them through the process your obviously hiding something. So I show these guys my electric bill and look and the contract - of course they tell me I'm paying more money than I should for my services and that if I allow Hiko to supply my energy I'll save money and get a rebate check at the end of the year. It all sounded good and the guys actually were professional but the fine print on the contract turned me off. To make a long story short I didn't sign the contract - I asked for a copy and was told it would cost me $40 to do that... really??? So once I heard that I pretty much sent these guys away.
Fast forward to a few days later, I check my mail and there's a notice from ConEdison congratulating me for choosing Hiko Energy as my new service provider. REally??? I'm furious at this point because I never signed a contract so I figure one of two things happened: these guys forged my signature seeing that they probably stole my information from the bill I showed them, or they just stole my info and that was all they needed to secure my account. Either way it's fraud and something should be done about this type of business practice.
This company assumed I wouldn't check my utility bill and went ahead and committed a crime in my eyes. Don't deal with Hiko Energy.

monthly higer&higer bill
HIKO Energy LLC, Me and my husband living in condo and since we agree to switch to HIKO Energy com. our bill from November 2013 amount $ 59.53, December 2013 $112.06, January 2014 $156.41, February 2014 $323.92. As you can see this absolutely does not make sense. Mostly our days we are not home. Thermostat is on 55F through the day. and evening max. 70F. By midnight it is stop and going slowly down till 5.30 AM. Heat is on till 7AM. Always concern about electric supplies to save. You promised to save a lower electric bill. Sorry but I don see that in this point. I call Friday Feb.21, no call back on Monday. Call again and could not leave message , call today Tuesday Feb.25 the same thing no chance to leave message.

HIKO Energy
I Have a similar complaint to the one above. Signed with HIKO, because they promised lower prices, and my first electric bill one January, they charged me $49.62 (PSE&G would have charged $45.75), an d now in February it jumped to $125.58, and I only used 3 more therms this last month. My first billing cycle for gas came in and they charged me $350.29 (compared with PSE&G's $116.33). I have called twice a day Friday, Monday and Tuesday, and i just get a voicemail saying they will return calls within 24 hours, and now today, the mailbox won't accept new calls! I will say, I am NOT HAPPY with HIKO. If I don't have this rectified, I am calling the Board of Public Utilities today. Oh yes, I should mention that I have my heat set on 60-64 during day, and 60 night ( I work at home) and I have been walking around this winter with layers and hat and gloves in my house, so to get a bill for $691.87, $475.87 of which is HIKO is ridiculous!!!

High Prices, Can't reach them by phone.
We were promised lower electric bills, and now the past three months it has doubled. I wanted to talk to them, and their number is being directed to someone else, that isn't even affiliated with them. What's going on?

Hiko is not a good company
I live in a condo and we never signed up with Hiko and our bill is going up every month by $70.00. Called ComEd and they directed me to Hiko. I tried to cancel and Hiko is saying our bill is in someone else name and would not let me close the account with them. Directed me back to ComEd. This is crazy and something should be done about this company
