Frustrating and unauthorized membership!
I have been a life time member since the middle 90's and they used to send me things to test like sand
-paper or they would send a drill bit guide but nothing anymore I just get the magazine. It is just like they suckered you in then forgot you.

Scam and cheating!
I am being billed for Handyman of America magazine that I didn't order and did not receive. I am concerned that this will show up on my credit report as a negative. I have perfect credit at present. I see there are many complaints against this company. What can we do about it? I get enough junk mail as it is. Am reporting to Better Business Bureau.

Frustrating and unauthorized membership!
I joined when I received a flier, it sounded pretty good. So I joined and I received my product, shortly after I received more fliers to pay for 1, 2 or 3 years . if I wanted to. This was just weeks after I just joined, why not wait till I was a member for awhile. I called them and ask why and how long it take to receive testing tools. You wouldn't believe the answer!!! 6 months to a year, so after my membership runs out. I might of maybe received something to test.. So why should I wait so long? I just called and cancelled my membership, after reading so many negatives...Think this is a bunch of hog wash, , ,

Frustrating and unauthorized membership!
Me too! Ditto...I'm a female factory worker...why would I get a handyman magazine? Now I'm in collections? Is this a scam? Retrieval-Masters Creditors Bureau, needs to validate their claims before threatening someones credit!

pure scam, fake membership
I purchased a lifetime membership of HCOA and I supposed to have all advertised benefits. I paid for the membership as it was required and I had to receive a confirmation of the registration etc. I never received any confirmation even after I contacted them and complained bout that. They just gave me fake promises which were never completed. Unfortunately I was unable to get my money back because of their fraudulent policy. Beware and be careful, avoid any business with them!

Lifetime?
I bought the lifetime membership a few years ago. I did receive a drill and a couple trinket tools. I received the magazine every couple months for a while. But I have not received a magazine or trinket in over a year. Trying to contact someone has been a joke. I would not recommend buying into the "lifetime" sales pitch. If you like a particular issue, support a local merchant and buy it at the store.
