Even with FMLA you only have 12 weeks you can use. Then you have to either be terminated and reapply or they can put you in suspended status. They do not have to hold your job indefinitely, nor should they. Sorry about your kids, but business is business.

But the manager rehired me and told me to come to work the next morning and I did not hear anymore from her. There are people working there now that cannot pass a drug test or background test but I guess thats good business. My kids got hurt and I had to deal with them when my manager kept telling me to take some more time off that I had my job still. Thats not a good business. The lawyer we are dealing with also said the same thing. Family Dollar is no place to work!!

no respect for their customers and employees
Beware and stay away from Family dollar (lucas street florence SC 29506)

this company is dishonest against their customers and doesn't respect their employees. I used to work for them and I was forced to lie to customers and also I can confirm that this company doesn't protect their employees socially. It is better to stay away from them and to find more reliable place where to work.
