This is not the way real businesses are run
I am a seller on Etsy, and am among over 800, 000 sellers. Each seller is responsible for our their shop and the items in it. Why would the seller, who can prove that they shipped the item, refund anything to a stranger who claims they did not receive it, even though the post office agrees with the seller in that they did ship it? These items can be tracked through USPS or whatever carrier they may have used to send your item, so it's not just someone's word they are going off of. as a seller, how do we know that someone hasn't received the item, is saying that they didn't and are just out to get something for free? If it were me, and I really did not get my item, I would take it up with the post office or whatever carrier the seller used, and track the item. They may have it some where waiting for you.

no care of sellers, poor service
Etsy.com just shut our shop after 6 years of honest business with no reason provided although we had close to 100% approval rating and an honest reputation. There is no way to contact etsy about this topic so we’re going to take legal action against them. Etsy is just a bunch of scammers.

No Refund
The absolute worst rip-offs! I purchased many, many items from them, one of which never arrived. They told me I would get a refund or credit if I chose. When I asked for the credit, I was told it was past the time to process refunds. They NEVER told me any rules about refunds prior. The packaging was definitely Third World, rolled in newspaper and torn to shreds when you received it! The law needs to check into these people.
