Costumer Service eNightmare
Haha.. Apparently it is corporate behavior of edreams "Service"-center employees to scream at the customers and be extremely unfriendly. I booked two flights for my parents, the first flight I paid by Visa card; I received the booking confirmation, but it also said there is a problem with the payment (even though there was still more than enough money on it) and edreams needs to check the payment and will get back to me. Ok, so I booked the second flight on a Master card (also with more than enough money available), same results. But as they said it's booked and they just need to verify the payment I thought it's Ok. A few days later still no feedback from them, so I call them on the swiss (as I live in Switzerland) service number, after waiting for 20(!) min till someone picks up (of course you pay 0, 35CHF per minute), a woman with a very strong russian accent answers. I explain her the situation, (which took very long, as she hardly spoke German, English or French); then she explained me that one of the payments didn't work, when I ask her why (as the card had still more than enough money available) she starts screaming at me, that either I pay again now (a higher price now, of course) or she doesn't want to speak to me. As I really don't understand why the payment failed I asked her if she could give me a reason why, as a result she said something which I couldn't understand and hung up! Seriously, something like that never happened to me before! You can imagine that I was quite confused and perplex. But I thought Ok, maybe it's a language problem and called again, but this time on the service number in Germany. This time the girl who answered the phone (after 15 min) was able to speak german, but was very unfriendly and also started screaming at me.
I really don't understand why, I was friendly when I called and explained the situation; then she told me that I have to pay a higher price now, I said (still friendly) Ok, but asked if she could tell me why or what the problem with the card was, as I already received a booking confirmation with a lower price for the flight. She then started screaming at me, that it's not her problem and she doesn't care, either I pay the higher price now or I only get one of the tickets. So in the end I didn't have a choice but paying more. GREAT JOB EDREAMS!!! I have never been treated that bad as a customer and still can't believe it. I'm sure to never book again with them and can just advice anyone else to not book there.
