took money from my account without my permission

its a shame how people are bitterly complaining about this deadseakit company. It has happened to me too an amount of £57.95 has been taken from my account without my permission. A product that my skin ALLERGICALLY reacted to it badly. To the free trial. Am however requesting for the money to be paid back into my account with immediate effect. Deadsea must be concerned about the reputation of their company. Taking these monies from people banks for whatever reason without any fixed agreements is fraud. YOUR ADVERT IS VERY DECEIVING TO POOR CUSTOMERS. Money is not easy to come by!!!!!!!!!!!! EVELYN BAAH

Dead Sea Beauty Kit

The same thing happened to me. They charged me the $3.95 free trail charge on 6/4/12 and on 6/18/12 charged me another $89.95 although I had still not received the product. This was done without my permission and only part of the company number was on my account- 188-717. I went on-line and googled it and finally in very small print found the rest of the number 1-800-717-5794 and called them. I was given a mailbox to leave a message, however the box was full. I received the product today (8/20/12) with no instructions on it's use or address to return it to. I am so mad that I am returning it without even trying it, if I can find an address to return it to. I have put in a complaint to my bank and they gave me another company number 1-800-717-5795, however it is someone elses home number. I am disputing the charge with my bank. Good luck everyone.

unauthorised transaction

I agreed to pay the postage to receive a free product. There was nothing about my account to be charged to pay anothersum of money in the future. The only thing mentioned in terms and conditions was about paying another amount later if I agreed to register into autorefill programme, which I have not.

Now I notice that the company has deducted £58 from my account without my authorisation, which I believe is absolutely illegal.

I just would like to inform Deadseakit company that I would like to cancell any agreement with them if they believe there is any.

I cannot contact them. There is no email or tel. number.

Could you help me please to be able to get in touch with them?

Thanks

deadsea kit trial offer

Actually I did read the small print so I knew what was coming. They were not really prompt on delivery but imagine my surprise when it shipped from the Netherlands. Now that was a surprise. I have a feature on my credit card that alerts me about out of country transactions so I was prepared for that. I was not going to deal with the costs of shipping back so I was ready to pay the first payment and knew when it was coming. I have contacted both them (and Allura) (on their website - so who knows how that will turn out I wasn't going to pay for an overseas call for the dead sea kit which is the only number I could find anywhere). Also they pasted the delivery seal over the order info so I am not really sure that I got the right order number although I did spend a lot of time with the double slips up in front of a window and I think I got the right number. I suspect that if you don't have that right it could be interesting and I am interested to see how that turns out. I will alert my credit card company not to process any further transactions from them. Also I saw the ad on the MSN home website page doing late night surfing. Wonder drugs - we will try everything. this was to be used with Allura but of course no directions on how to do that. I have also contacted Allura by their phone numbe included with shipping parcel and they were very good about cancelling my refill order but will notify credit card about refusing further payments for that as well. Story ending - stop those late night shopping sprees - they get you when you are down and ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT. PS: did you notice that they always have a wonder woman with fantastic results that lives in the city nearest you. They always have a catch. Hope the contact info helps. e

Deadsea Kit Free Trial Kit

After completing a survey on CNN I was given three free offers to choose from and I only need to pay shipping of $5.95 for the Deadsea Kit that I selected from the three offers. They sent me three little bottles value and charged by card $89.95. I made all efforts to call them but nobody ever returned my call and they have also send me another set and have instructed my bank to stop all charges to my account from them. If you read this email and you have the power to stop these thieves, please do so. This is the biggest hoax I have experienced in free trial advertisement. Please help us stop these idiots.

OK....just like everybody else..not only did I NOT recieve the promo kit (oh...btw...they DID charge my account $5.95) I can't get in touch with anyone...thier "customer support" dept ( which is a voice mail box is FULL )..just like if you use the drive-thru & you think you will get what you ordered...c'mon...you know "they" ALWAYS screw you at the drive thru !!! All I can think to do is contact my charge card company & block their charge (to come) of $89.95....that is about all anyone can do...if anyone has another way to cease from getting the "SLAM & SCAM run up in em...please post it !!!!

Scam charge

My wife bought this as a trail offer and was to be charged $1.97 shipping only. We see on our debt card that we were charged $69.95 instead. I called my bank and they said that when you authorize a transaction the company can charge anything. You then allow them to continue the charge on a regular basis as it is now an open account. So, were had to cancel the card, so that will stop. This is clearly a SCAM, so please beware of this common type of scam. We older folk on social security can't afford this lose, so please be careful out there. The world is full of crooks like this one and order only from a company you know and can trust. This Dead Sea Company is not one of them!!! We have contacted Missouri's Attorney Generals Office as Missouri is strong on going after these types of companies.

Deadsea kit free trial

I received the 14 day trial kit, kept it and was charged $89.95 for it. Fine. However, I have been trying without success to cancel the autorefill programme - e-mails sent to their customer 'support' service, letter to the address I received the product from. No-one responds.

Any ideas as to how to contact these people please? A phone number is mentioned. What is this number (although I hear its a waste of time trying to make contact by phone)? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Scam!

Like many others, I have been seriously conned by this fraudulent company - Deadsea Kit. I have tried to ring them but without success. I did not wish to continue receiving products in the first place. I only signed up for a free trial, which I was told I could return within 2 weeks and no further charges would be made. I received the trail offer about a month after the initial payment of £2.75 was deducted from my credit card. How could I possibly return the products within 2 weeks?! I have been charged a further £57.95 but havent received a thing.

Please can anyone advise me how to contact this scurrilous company.

Thank you.

Dead Sea Kit

Hi all,
I have been scammed as well, despite cancelling the 'autorefill'.
I am so angry!
Initially, I was told I had 'won' this kit, but had to send the postage of £4.95, which I did.
After shopping online for so many years I thought nothing of it. I was pleased when I received the Dead Sea Kit and have been using it. I thought is was a nice free gift, as indicated.
Then, wanting to find out more about this product, I googled it and came upon the Scam page. My blood froze.
I went onto the account link they had sent me and immediately filled in the autorefill part, saying that I didn't want any more of their products until further notice.
I contacted my bank right away and told them that under no circumstances should they put a payment through to this company.
I was told that it was not possible to do that and that I would have to wait in case this would happen. I was also advised that I should have used a credit card, and that they would have been able to recoup it.
I don't have a credit card!
Then, today, I was shocked to find out that they had taken out £57.95 from my bank account!
I am on a tight budget and really cannot afford this right now. I am saving up for my holidays.
Now what? Will they take more money out in a few days? Will Lloyds TSB be able to help me?
I just can't believe I fell for this.
And where is the second delivery of this product?
Why are they allowed to avoid punishment?
I will keep you all informed about what happens next.
If the bank won't help me get my money back or prevent further cash being taken out, I will have to close that account.

Dead Sea Kit

Update on my earlier email.

This is the email I received from Dead Sea Kit, after sending them an email yesterday to cancel any further unauthorised payment taken from my account.

Thank you for getting in touch with us. I am sorry to hear that you want to cancel the AutoRefill program for the Dead Sea Beauty Kit. I hope you have thought that over and realize the convenience it offers.

As per your request, I have cancelled your AutoRefill profile and thus any further automatic shipments of replenishment products to you. There will be no further automatic charges to your account.

If you wish to order replenishment products, simply visit our webstore or get in touch with us to reactivate AutoRefill. We offer a wide selection of replenishment plans to best suit your lifestyle and needs, including monthly, every 6 weeks, every 2 months and even every 3 months.

Deadseakit

Thank goodness I wasn't the only one! I fell for the trial offer never saw any contracts/commitments. I get some nice product then discovered I was being billed £57.95. I thought okay maybe I misread it and the trial offer was to have cheaper postage??? Then I am being billed £44.95 for a second pack which isn't as described on the box i.e. two of eye gel and no day cream. I have told my credit card people to block them. I have tried to cancel what I now discover is an autorefill order but when I try to access that I get an error report so I have emailed them. These are very aggressive selling tactics which may be okay in their country of origin - is it USA or Israel? but is creating a lot of badwill, I suspect the company is desperately trying to save itself and believes no publicity is bad publicity. The lack of contact points mentioned in other complaints above points directly at the company not third parties creating this problem.

Dead Sea Rip off

I ordered a free trial sample and paid £3.95 GBP for shipping and found out they had taken £59.95 GBP from my bank account without consulting me or with my authorization. I have rung the bank and stopped my card, they said that they still may be able to take payments. I have been given a number from the bank to ring Dead Sea 0800 717 5794 but that number is unobtainable. I have e mailed the company and they told me I can get a refund when I return the package to Israel!!! I have not received a package!!! total rip off

dead sea kit

I have the same problem as you. I was sent the promotion. When I placed my order, it DID NOT state they would take a further £57!!! I contacted my bank to find out what the money was taken for and was informed of the company, I told them of the promotion and they told me to contact them. I cannot have the money replaced in my account and am absolutely livid!!!! Do NOT participate in this, it is a big SCAM

Dead Sea Kit

I took part in a Facebook survey and was offered a free gift in exchange. I chose the Dead Sea Kit and was advised that I would pay £3.95 postage and packing. They took that but have now taken over £50 out of my account. I didn't realise that this was a 2 week free trial. Another point I would make is that if you are not entirely happy with the produce you can return it within the 2 weeks but it must be returned unused. How can you test a product without using it. I agree with everybody above. IT IS A SCAM! And I can't believe that I was stupid enough to fall for it but I thought it was through Facebook. I shall try and report this to them.

Dead Sea Kit.com and Lush Illumination

Both of these companies operate in the same way -- when one orders the "free kit" you are immediately charged outrageous sums for "future" products that have not even been received. There is conveniently no phone number on the Dead Sea web site nor have I been able to locate a mailing address to cancel. Based on my usage of the "free trial" package, these products are not as effective as they claim and I could have purchaed similar items at the local DISCOUNT STORE!.
What a RIP OFF!
