Discrimination and racism in the interviewing process
Also, just a little more feedback, these are the links to their websites, if you ever want to take a look at them for yourself. The websites look well put together, but the business is anything other than that. https://twitter.com/capstone_nc, http://capstonecharlotte.com, and http://www.facebook.com/pages/Capstone-Consultants/100254346716747

Discrimination and racism in the interviewing process
I don't really know what to say about that post, except, I'm an African-American woman, and having worked at Capstone for over a year, I've never considered for a second that my opportunity is in any way effected by my color. Sometimes, people like you, who make comments like this make it hard for genuinely qualified minorities to confidently pursue a great opportunity like this one.

Discrimination and racism in the interviewing process
If you don't know what to say about my post, then why did you take the time to comment? Makes no sense. I said it just wasn't an issue of skin color; I said it was also an issue of hair texture as well. Well I was genuinely qualified- you haven't seen my resume so you can't just assume I am not qualified- you don't even know me lady, and I'm not the only person who finds flaws within the company. I have seen other posts on here where people claim it's a pyramid scheme, and not to waste your time in the interview process. I am not the only one who didn't have a great interview with this business or didn't take the job offer. Also, you should never refer to a person with the comment "people like you". It makes me think you are not African American, because African Americans don't refer to other African Americans with the words "people like you". I am an individual, and not a just people, but a person, if you knew anything about life, you would know that referring to people with the comment "people like you" is unethical, immoral, and stereotypical. If it was such a great opportunity why are there so many complaints about this company on complaints board?, many have gone on the interview and didn't like it, and it wasn't just because of race, hair texture, or skin color, it was because of how the company is ran, the business, the lack of ethics, the lack of morals, etc. Anyhow, it's my opinion, and I can post it on here. I know what I experienced, and it may not be your experience. You were not there. If you don't like my posting, then don't read or comment, but I hold what I experienced to be truthful, and this is what I felt. This was my feeling about what occured there.

More Pyramid Scheme "Marketing"
Apparently Capstone Consultants in North Carolina is no more but they are now playing Whack-A-Mole with the authorities... they are now known as K2 Consultants in New Haven, Connecticut. But their M.O. is the same - you go to a small office within an AT&T building, the receptionist you hear the whole time you are waiting make call after call requesting the recipient come in for an interview, and what's more, the person I interviewed with, Shaun Hogan, has Capstone Consultants listed on his LinkedIn page (http://www.linkedin.com/pub/shaun-hogan/14/b2b/683). They talked a lot about moving from North Carolina, so there you go.
