free trial/ e cigarettes

free trial offered for shipping charge of $4.95 and found out that trial is limited time. Ordered for family member and tried to cancel order; however. 2 phone #'s given were fake #s. Several complaints against this company!

no Free Trial noted

I sanned the info on the terms for shipping charge only & there were not terms to 14 day trial and recurring charges on my acct. My bank acct know has overdraft and my utility bills will be hard to pay. Did contact them @ 866-830-2520. they answered as cutomer care, no company identification and refused to give me full credit. I find no Bright Burn website now.

free trial/e cigarettes

I ordered free trial @ $4.95, only to have my account charged 109.67...called them twice for a refund...could not understand either person I talked to. Finally found out that they are going to refund me $40...woo-hoo...not sure why not the full amount? I have not used the free trial and offered to return it for full refund.

No where does it say on the info I received that I had 15 days to cancel my order....no where...what a scam and I have been taken...never again.

Finding a website for this company is almost impossible....that is not even listed on the info I received from them. It is customary if you order something from a company, their website is available..not this place....so...don't do it...it's a scam for sure.

4.95 trial for trio e-cigarette

I ordered a trial of Trio e-cigarette made by Bright Burn for 4.95, Now i have received additional charges of 117.35 and 2 weeks later 74.49. You try to do something good foryourself and then this. Be careful.

Bright Burn Scam

This was a free trial and I have found they can not be contacted, they are charging my account each month and nothing is being delivered. The number that shows on the credit card statement is not their number and they continue to hit my account each month.

6. CANCELLATION AND REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY

If you wish to cancel future deliveries of the Product or receive an RMA number, you must call 1-877-647-3625. If you cancel prior to the expiration of the Trial Period and would not like to be billed for the full amount of the Starter Kit you must return the starter kit with a return merchandise authorization (an .RMA.) number within 30 days from the date you placed your order. If you do cancel within the 14 day trial and do not want to be charged for the starter kit we must receive your starter kit with an RMA number 30 days from the date you placed your order otherwise you will be billed $109.67. If you fail to cancel prior to the expiration of the Trial Period or you fail to return the starter kit with an RMA number within the 30 days from when you placed your order, your credit card will be charged $109.67 for the Product that was shipped to you.

If you cancel after the expiration of the Trial Period, you may receive a refund, but only if the starter kit is received by us with an RMA number within 30 days from the date you placed your order. Refunds will not be given on packages marked .Return To Sender.. All Product returns must be sent to No Flame E-Cigarette. For purposes of calculating the 30 days for this refund/return policy, each Product that is shipped to you after the expiration of the Trial Period is deemed to have been ordered when such Product is billed to your credit card.

7. GENERAL PAYMENT INFORMATION

All fees are payable in United States currency. Upon prior written notice to you (i.e., email), Company reserves the right to change its pricing and/or billing practices whenever necessary, in its sole discretion. If you do not agree with these changes, you may cancel your membership in the Program, as applicable, at any time, but you will remain responsible for timely payment of any and all fees that you have already incurred (including any applicable late fees). Continued acceptance of the Product, after receipt of such notice shall constitute consent to any and all such changes. If you fail to make any scheduled payment for a Product, such overdue amounts will be subject to interest charges in the amount of one and one half percent (1.5%) per month, compounded monthly and Company may, in its sole discretion, decide to terminate your membership in the Program for non-payment.

I called the 866-830-2520 number and did talk to an actual representative after seeing a pending charge on my CC for $99.xx after originally being charged $4.xx for the offer I signed up for.
1. I told them I wanted the charge reversed for $99.xx. They responded that I agreed to the offer. I objected, she then said she would refund me $40. I had to interrupt in a very loud "NO, that is not acceptable" and then ask for a manager.
2. They came back and said, "no manager is available" and confirmed that the $40 was all they could do. I again had to interrupt and state "NO, that is not acceptable". I then had to continue making that statement two more times until she stopped talking. I then said "These marketing practices are deceptive and I will give you 2 options 1) refund the entire $99.xx or I will file a dispute with my CC company for the full amount. If you only provide a partial refund, I will then dispute that amount with my CC AND file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau." I had to repeat this offer two times, and then she magically came back with an offer of me keeping the original product and receiving a refund of $7x.xx, or I can return the product at my own cost and receive a full refund for the $99.xx amount." She then provided a return authorization number and then said she would email the address to send the product to. If I had been thinking on my toes, I would have refused to have the address emailed and would have required she provide it over the phone...it's just a delay tactic, hoping you will forget to follow-up. Even though under most circumstances I might be willing to pay $25-30 for a similar product, I REFUSE to support such deceptive marketing practices and as such I refuse to keep the product and will be mailing it back.

You do have options as a consumer and we all need to utilize or CC dispute option to protect our rights.

Fraudulent Charges

This company is definitely guilty of internet fraud. They are operating under multiple business names. They scammed my brother for $99.67 on his credit card (he received nothing but the $4.95 starter kit, by the way) and have now hit him with $80 for 4 little boxes of cartridges sold all over the internet for $3-4 apiece.

They'll be getting a call unless the phone numbers I have found for them don't work & if they refuse to refund his money in full, I will have my husband---an attorney---take legal action. We will also file a complaint with the federal government for internet fraud.

Don't let them get away with this!!

E-Cig Scam

I returned the $4.95 shipment and cancelled further shipments. It does not matter that you follow directions: I was charged the $99.-- and received order over a month later. Now when I call the 877 number, whoever simply hangs up on me. Stay away from ordering anything without first checking out the company!!

$338.23 dollars later

I answered to the $4.95 trial add. FREE ECIG JUST PAY FOR SHIPPING. Well since this I have moved and wasnt watching my bank statements. Today I log on and WOW they have screwed me. I am disputing it with my bank. I didnt even like the product and threw it out thinking, $5 down the drain. Little did I know I was in for some fraud in the months to come. I rarely buy things on impulse like this and this is just another example of why!! shame on me but more so... shame on them for being so scandalous.

trial period a joke!

My 14-day trial was not even up and my account was already charged, 10 days later of $109.67. I asked why I was charged the 109.67, it's the purchase of the kit, and 69.95 monthly for the refill cartridges. I stopped that for now, there's a hold on my acct until May 20th. I have to call b4 that date to let them know if i want the cartridges or not. I received the kit without the wall charger and they are sending that out in 3-5 business days free of charge. Anytime you order over the tv or internet there may be reoccurring charges, I just never read that on their website. But terms can change an so will my credit card, for sure. The stuff is nasty!

Bright BurnECig.

I ordered the Bright Burn E-Cig starter kit off the Internet for $4.95. i the meantime I became very ill and was in the hospital in ICU. I finally came home and when I was able to try to take care of business I looked at my Bank statement and found I had been charged $109.67. for the starter kit. I called them and found out there was a 14 day trial period, which was no where on the advertisement or page I ordered the kit from. After arguing and being on the phone for about 30 minutes they agreed to refund me $79.72 and cancel any future shipments. This company is a Scam. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

Decptive Practices

The complaints are all very right on the money. This is a very deceptive company. I was on the phone with a person for 20 mins. I was told that the "purchase" was final and no refund, per the purchase agreement. That the $4.95 initial fee was for shipping only. The representative said that since the charges already went thru, that nothing could be done.
If you complain long enough, they say you will get a refund. First offer Of $40. then an offer of $59. Then they tell you that to save "me" the hassle of returning the product they will refund $79. of the purchase price and the account will be closed and no more shipments or charges will come. So your out $30. lesson learned?
I confirmation e-mail will be sent in 24-48 hours and the refund will appear in 5 to 7 business day.

Call your bank and dispute the charges. This is a scam, that I will guess originated from out of the country.

Buyer beware of any internet purchases, especially the one.

Electronic Cigarette (Bright Burn/No Flame)

I participated in an on-line survey from AT&T and as a reward for my participation I was offered any one of four items. The items were said to valued at fifty dollars. I choose the ECig Cartomizers for my reward for the cost of shipping. The shipping cost was $4.95. No where in the advertisement or during my payment process was there anything that said that there was a further obligation to purchase their starter kit and a monthly order of cartomizers at normal price. My account has been charged $109.67 for the starter kit and another 69.62 for monthly cartomizers. I have not received a starter kit or the monthly cartomizer shipment. All I've received to this point is two packs of cartomizers for the original $4.95 offer. Their customer service department refuses to believe me and when I finally get someone to listen they are saying they can't give a full refund because they have lost their product. I'm still working this matter and have traced the tracking number they provided and it was for the small package I received the two packs of cartomizers in at a weight of 0.542 lbs. I think I finally got through to the customer service representative. She kept giving me excuses whenever I asked to talk with her supervisor. I'm going to send back their cartomizers and see what shows up in my account, but I'm far from done. I wonder if AT&T knows that this company is using them to run their scam. I will get my money back.

Bright Burn Company Refund Policy

I wrote a pretty nasty complaint a day or so ago. Before I had my refund. As of 8 October 2013 I have been given a FULL Refund of all monies charged to my account and I just wanted to clear the air. I still don't like, nor understand how by taking a pop-up survey from AT&T (My provider) I ended up being part of a trail for Bright Burn Electronic Cigarettes. I took the short survey and was given a choice of four products that were said to be worth at least fifty dollars. I choose the No Flame Cartomizers because I had just purchased a Green Smoke Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit and thought that these cartomizers might work with this kit. I also have a Prado product kit that I purchased about two years ago. I figured these cartomizers might work with it if not with the Green Smoke kit. It looked to be a good idea at the time and I'd only be out $4.95 if they did not work with either kit.
I did not then, nor do I now understand how that led to being signed up for the Bright Burn program. It wasn't until I was doing my end of month check book balance that I noticed the charges. This is where my case differs from the other cases. I never received a starter kit or a first month's re-supply of cartomizers, which is what normally alerts people to being part of the Bright Burn program. I had been charged $109.67 for a starter kit and another $69.62 for a monthly re-supply of cartomizers. I never got them, all I ever received was the two packs of five cartomizers each that was my reward for taking part in the survey. My first phone call to Bright Burn was very frustrating. I went back and forth with the customer service representative about a refund and she more or less had called me a liar and a theft. I asked to talk with her supervisor and got excuse after excuse, just as I had about the refund with her. She finally started talking refund with me after I refused to give up. She would offer a refund that was far from a full refund. Her offers were initially about a quarter of what I had been charged, then half. I keep persisting and asking for a supervisor. It was about then that she said I needed to understand that they had lost their product and she wasn't authorized to give a full refund unless I was within the trail period and had returned the product with and R/A number. I reminded her that I couldn't return something I had never received. She said that according to their records I had. I asked for the information and she gave me the tracking number. I told her that I would check it out and I'd call her back. When I went on-line to the UPS package tracking site I was able to pull up the document that showed a delivery to my home. The tracking number showed a single package weighing 0.5241 ounces had been delivered to my home. With this information I was able to convince Bright Burn Customer service to FULLY REFUND all charges. A package weighing only 5 ounces could not have contained their starter kit and a month's supply of cartomizers. The small package I had received was the two packs of cartomizers that I told them that was the only thing I had ever received.
I had provided them proof that what I was telling them was true. The company honored their refund policy and asked only that I return the cartomizers I had received. II was when I called them back to verify the R/A number that I found out that they had already credited my account. So after all I went through, I would have to say that Bright Burn will and did in my case honor their refund program if the customer is within the trail period and has returned the product as required. I can also say that they do listen and will make exceptions if you can provide evidence that backs up your story. Given that, I believe them to be a reputable company that can be dealt with if you are within the trail period or have mitigating circumstances. I still don't like how the whole thing started. I do however feel that they are looking into the matter and will make changes in their advertisement campaign so as to negate future incidents of this nature.

No Flame E Cigarette

There was no warning this website would take money every month from my bank account and their advertisement said $4.95 for a free trial. Every month they are taking $63.00 from my account and I can't get them to understand that I want it stopped. They do not speak enough English when I call and seem not to understand and have no manager or supervisor to help when I call. I m a senior citizen and on a very fixed income and need help to make them stop taking my money. Please help me.
