Bad cell phone company

PHONES NOT WORKING

My husband has a cell phone contract with the and for 5 months now thy draw double the payment if he try to phone them and ask why they put you to someone else and then the line is cut off, you can forget of phoning back it does not help

phone not working

I have a contract since 2009, AG Bombshell I had the phone four months then the first problem began called Bayport they sent courier they collected received phone back two months later...phone worked for month then died again at the time I was retrenched mailed all documentation to head office but they could do nothing with contract because no payment was being made...started working they just started deducting as if nothing was wrong now sitting with a broken phone and still paying R399.00 a month...I think this is a rip off why wasn't the phone covered with insurance like you explain via telesales...As soon as the deal is signed you don't care about customer service...I am busy with this as I am taking it further...

AG BOMBSHELL FAKE

Hi i applied for a cell phone contract every time i called the call centre they advised me that they need to confirm employment this was a month a ago just call a few minutes ago and they tell me that the application was rejected and i can only re-apply for a contract in the next 3 months, the sad part is that you didn't even border to tell me that my orders is rejected that so bad.

AG BOMBSHELL FAKE

I bought two phones from Bayport in January this year Nokia C5 and Nokia C2, I only discovered this week that these two phones are not the same as other original Nokia phones I've seen. The Nokia C2 from Bayport uses two sim cards but the one I saw from Vodacom uses only one sim. The other one C5 touch screen is a disaster ...on top of that the sim cards they gave me fails registration, Ive even lost them cause I hang on to them keep thinking they will soon work bt da! OOOH I'm devastated please advice me on what to do about this cause they are busy deducting from my account.

airtime dispute

I recieved two handsets on contract Galaxy y 0849178958
Bay chat 0747705330

However I also received a R50 pre-paid voucher with the handsets and used this while waiting for activation and loading of airtime.Airtime WAS loaded but although NO calls have been made both phones show 0.00 airtime.

I have REPEATEDLY contacted Bayport telephonically since Monday 11/06/2012 with absolutely no response or action to rectify the problem.

PLEASE RESPOND.........................

I have been offered and pre approved on a contract with you guys twice,the first i was told the phone will be delivered i was even given a call back from an agent to confirm the address of the delivery there after 2 week i called only to find that my employment/employer does not exist on your data base that is bull shit,there after about a month another call same all approved and till today no phone no feed back,sick disgusting service no customer service experience you people think yourll can mess around with people as url please honestly you people need to wake up or is this an affirmative action thing?0829526467 check here is my number how many time i was contacted from you guys data base

Contract with no phones

Good day,

I have a contract with Bayport cellular including two phones with three contract sim cards.
My wife got mugged and the one phone got stollen in the process, after which bayport replied that the phone was not insured with them and therefore they will not replace the phone. ( Nokia C5 )

The second phone also not working anymore due to a faulty battery and a software problem, lead to the same response by bayport cellular,
They cant replace the phone because of not being covered nor insured by bayport cellular. ( Nokia C2 ).

Now i have three contract sim cards with no working phones, and still paying the full monthly installment as per contract agreed.

This is an utter disgrace and daylight robbery to the people and every day client.

An urgent solution would be highly appreciated, even if the contract can be determined null and void by canceling the contract to avoid any further unpleasantness.

phone stolen

hi i took out a contract with bay-port a while ago and after just 4 months my phones got stolen they broke in to my house and stole everything and when i phones you guys they were very rude and just said its my problem and i need to pay the instalments no matter what. i will not pay the installments and that is it. they phones me today and said if i do not pay by end of July the will put a garnishing order on my pay. I'm sick and tyred of the rudeness of them and the way they handle stuff can you please email me with what can be done about this thank you [email protected]

Arrangement on my account

I made an arrangement to pay my cellphone account which incurred arreas as a result of my retrench, which I did report. In April was employed, and started paying my account, although not consistently resulting in further accumulation of my arreas. I made an arrangement to pay and extra R200 to make up for my arreas, a deduction fo which brough my debit order to R599.

Needless to say that I have not been receiving statemets from Bayport regarding my payments or lack thereof. Lst month I received a call from a lady who informed me about my arraeas and the fact that Bayport received my last payment in June. I have proof that i have paid for the month in question via Bayport's Standard Bank account.

In June 2013 a lady called me from the credit department to facilitate a payment, which was made, and threatened to hand over my account if I do not make payments. Eventually she did and I received a call from a legal lady called who was surprised that my account was handed over despite continuing with my paynents


On the 02 Sep I received a call from the legal department saying an agent will visit me at work to facilitate and formalise the arrangementon my account, which i did. The agent, Kobus, insisted that I sign the documents without having read or touched them. I believe it is in every South African's right to read documents between signing them. I just had that part of my rights infringed. If indeed the legal process is legit why am I not allowed to read it, let alone get someone with a legal background to interpret it. He went ahead to threaten me with summons.

I duly request that you deal with this matter accordingly and send me statement from January 2013 to date, as I am currently considering taking the matter to the Consumer Ombudsman or Speak Out to highlight and address on Baport's conduct.

I lost my phone

I lost my phone on the 13 of september 2013, I have been calling the Bayport call center but they keep redirecting my call to all the operators and none is helping, I wanted to have it blocked and a sim swap done as at cel c they said they couldn't only Bayport could do it. I also wanted to ask if it was insured as it was a gift from my father. I'm getting impetient with your service

trying to cancel a contract with no help

can someone from Bayport please contact me as i have been trying to cancel my contract over two years and have had bad service, i was told i have insurance and it was a lie. i also called in to say i do not want to renew my contract and it was illegally renewe without my concent.

not recieving data bundles

My name is Charles Ntsoane i have a problem with your contract as per agreement,on my contract it says each and every month i will receive R115.00 airtime, 100 sms and 300 data bundles for 24 month, now i only receive the following airtime and sms every month but data bundles i have only recive it for 2 month and after that i did not reveived anymore can you please investigate and give feedback.

I recieved a call from Bayport Cellular on the 14 of May 2014 asking me to upgrade my cellular contract and they took all my information including my bank details and they told me that i will recieve my phone with in 5 working days but i did not recieve anything i called them asking them how far they are with my upgrade they told me it was declined but it is not understandable becuase i recieved an SMS confirming that my upgrade was approved I advice people not to take contract with Bayport cellular because they dont know how to treat customers their service is POOR
