overdraft protection is a scam
Their overdarft protection is not protecting from anything! As soon as I got into overdraft by accident after purchasing this protection an overdraft fee of $35. Don't fall for it!

Beware of hidden escrow accounts!
How did you resolve this matter? I just discovered the same thing on my statement. Now there is a random "escrow" payment due.
Also I have had repeated issues with them taking out insurance policies that i do not need. wtf?

Harrassment, Erroneously Saying I Owe them Money When they Paid My Flood Insurance Twice Without Informing Me.
Bank of America paid two different insurance companies for my flood insurance in March, 2011 without informing me of this error or that they were doing it. In February, 2012, they hit me with a $350 monthly increase in my mortgage payments for their error. Then they started harassing me immediately for the difference that they erroneously paid. Then they threatened foreclosure and harassing me with their collection agency.
After 3 weeks of calling their Escrow Department (being hung up on ad infinitum and transferred to anyone who was breathing, but had nothing to do with Escrow) I finally called the "Customer Advocate" office of the CEO. Transferred to Sofia and she disconnected me. Great service. Then transferred to Patricia Kettering of CEO's office. She told me she would get back to me within 24-48 hours after investigating. I called after 48 hours and left messages with no response until after 6 days (144 hours), I called her and she said, "I'm just playing back your message." I said, "Messages!". She started laughing. She thought this was some kind of great joke. I told her I expected some response within the next 24 hours. I still have not heard from her after 65 hours and I've called the past two days. I believe the CEO's Office is the real joke.
Can anyone help me or give me advice??? Many thanks.

overcharge
This bank doesn't respect their customers! They charged me the box fee which is free with my advantage profile. When I noticed it I called them and this fee was removed, but I think they do it quite often, because many people don't notice this charge.
Be careful! Don't allow them to take your money!

Problems with flood insurance!
Unbelievable! we are in the same position so many of you are in. we are paying for flood insurance and required to escrow our insurances per BOA. We are paying over $800 a year in flood insurance and live no where near H2O. we have called FEMA who tells us to call BOA who tells us to call our insurance company and around we go again. ultimately the burden of proof lie with us. we have to hire an engineer and his determination isn't guaranteed to remove us from our zone A...

lost my payments and did nothing about it
I have a huge problem with them and it seems that this company doesn't care of what is going on at all! They lost my payments for last month and refused to do anything to renew them or find them! They just asking me to pay again and saying that I owed them money. Trying to show them all the bills but it seems like they don't want to listen at all!

I have been charged twice for the same bill
The bank has charged me twice for the cell phone bill that I have paid. I have contacted their customer support, and they promised to call me back, but never did. I think they are a fraud and I am willing to cancel my account there and take all my money!

did not help me return money for unfixed car
Bank of America did not provide me any help when a repair man did not fix my car correctly and I had to take the car to another service, however, the Bank of America did not help me return my money. Now the repair man had won the case, and I’m left where I initially was.

won't let people buy what they want
I want to unsubscribe my membership with Bank of America since they are supporting recent tragedy events and won’t let others purchase guns. I do not wish to be told what I can and can’t buy I will decide that on my own. I have a head on my head, and I only want to use the gun for hunting.

not satisfied
I have been a client of this company for ten years. This year i have been disgusted by the fact that they did not let me use my cc when I really needed it. They would not explain what happened and I’m thinking of closing my account with them.
