Major reaction to skin care product.

CAUTION***BEWARE: AuraVie offered a "Risk Free Trial" sample of their skin care product. There is nothing written on either the email order confirmation or the email shipment notification about any future credit card charges. We discovered one credit card charge of $97.88 about 2 weeks after the initial shipping charges, and another $97.88 charge a month after that. When I called AuraVie they were unwilling to give me a complete refund even though I offered to pay all shipping costs. One AuraVie supervisor actually called another AuraVie rep an "idiot". He also wanted me to send him an email stating that I have not and would not file a dispute with my bank. He stated that he would not give me a Return Authorization number until he received the email. He also stated that the Terms and Conditions next to the box where you enter your credit card information have not been altered. I have proof that they charged me a different amount than is now listed in the current statement. They also charged an additional fee for "11 Free Top Selling LifeStyle eBooks", "eBooks Processing Fee". I, TOO, WAS SUBJECTED TO VERBAL HARRASSMENT, THREATS, INTIMIDATION, ETC. IF I DISPUTED THE CHARGE WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY.

Major reaction to skin care product.

AuraVie Skincare aka, Bunzai Media Group, Inc. I have a dispute with this company as well. You can call the Better Business Bureau in Colton, CA at 909-825-7280, or file a complaint using this link: http://www.bbb.org/us/Find-Business-Reviews/name/auravie/92324/ There have been 93 complaints filed in the last 3 years; 87 of these complaints have resulted in the consumer’s complaint being “answered and satisfied” (which may mean if you file a complaint they are more willing to refund your money). There have also been 766 inquiries of which only a handful (single digits) have been satisfied. A BBB employee told me they are aware of a pattern developing. They need more complaints filed in order to downgrade the company’s rating. You can also file a complaint verbally via phone (takes about 5 minutes) with the FTC at 877-382-4357. I have also called my State Attorney General’s Office and they directed me to a website to download a complaint form.

return of product & billed for the same

I too ordered the "free trial" and notified them I wanted to cancel via email (which I have) and they still charged my bank account card for $97.88. I have contacted them by phone and was told I did not cancel within the deadline. But I have
my email to back up that I did. So as of now I am waiting to hear back from them, if no response within 2 days I am going to submit a complaint to Federal Trade Commission and BBB. On my charge it has the name REFRESH as the one withdrawing on my account. All should contact Federal Trade Commission with this problem, just go to ftc.com and select file a complaint.

AuraVie Skincare

CAUTION***BEWARE: AuraVie offered a "Risk Free Trial" sample of their skin care product. There is nothing written on either the email order confirmation or the email shipment notification about any future credit card charges.I phoned the company and had to listen to a 5 min. recording and then was told to call another number. The second call finally put me in touch with a real live person only to be disrepected and hung up on. My account was charged $97.88 which at the time made me over drawn to the tune of 2 overdraft charges of $25.00 each. I will be filing a complaint with both th BBB and the FTC not only for the 97.88 but also the 50.00 in overdraft charges.

Auravie "Free Trial Offer"

I ordered the "Free Trial Offer" skincare product and paid the $2.99 shipping charge via my credit card. I was subsequently billed $97.88 which I have disputed in that neither the packing list nor the website did not indicate that I had to cancel the order within 14 days or I would be charged for the product. How in the name of heaven, would a person know if the product worked after only 14 days of use?? After many telephone calls (no answer, recorded message saying I was calling after business hours (not the case at all), etc.I sent an online message. Today, three days after I left the message, I received a call indicating in no uncertain terms that I do not qualify for a credit. I was mocked, ridiculed, and laughed at by "Victor", which really made my blood boil. What's happened to the old saying that the customer is not always right, but the customer is always the customer??? Thanks to some of the complaints above, I now have sources (BBB and the FTC) to register my complaints and frustrations with.

Blackmail by Auravie

I ordered risk free trail offer, but never received any confirmation. When I called to cancel I found out I would be charged for the product. The customer service staff was extremely rude, so I asked to talk to the supervisor. Same poor customer service from the supervisor and extremely rude. I was told if I reported them to the better business bureau they would not terminate my ongoing charges. This seems like blackmail to me. In order to terminate I had to confirm I would accept the charge for the free trial or I had to send it back at my own expense. I would not agree so they would not terminate for me. In order to stop this I stated " Okay, but this is under duress." They would not accept this either. This went on and on.... The supervisor had the nerve to reprimand me for sighing because I was so frustrated by all of this. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said this was as high as I could go. I told her that unless she owns the company everyone reports into someone else. She finally did send me a confirmation, but stated it doesn't have the terms listed anyway, which it did not! Please do not fall for their scam! I am know not money through being scammed and blackmailed to boot. I will be calling the BBB on Monday.
