AuraVie-CANCELLATION # DOESN'T HELP
PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY BECAUSE APPARENTLY CANCELLATION # STILL DOESN'T HELP.
Here's my story------I decided to try the free trial size for a small shipping & handling fee. After receiving the product on 7/5/14 I called AuraVie on 7/9/14 to cancel any further shipments/charges. I received a cancellation # and was told it was cancelled. Then to my surprise while balancing my bank account on 7/17/14 I noticed a charge of $97.88 from FACEKIT in processing but my bank caught it as a fraudulent ATM charge-thank goodness. I then proceeded to call AuraVie on the same day and asked why did they do this since I had called and cancelled any further shipments/charges. The man that I spoke with stated that this shouldn't have happened and I told him good because they weren't getting their $ anyway since my bank caught it. Then he hung up on me. Well I thought all was good when the next day 7/18/14 FACEKIT charged my account again but it was for $68.52 and in the processing stage but for some reason my bank didn't catch this one. I called my bank but they couldn't do anything till it posted. It sat there is processing till today 7/23/14 when the charges went through. I called the fraudulent claims department at my bank and the representative and I got on a 3 way call with the AuraVie company. I gave the AuraVie representative (who of course didn't speak English well at all) my cancellation # and he said they show no record of me calling and cancelling my order. The bank rep asked if the cancellation # was a valid # and she was told yes but again no record of my phone call-WOW-how is happening. How could I have a valid cancellation # if I didn't call. After 30 minutes total being placed on hold and arguing my head off with this company the best I could get back was a $35.00 credit to my account. The bank rep said that considering the circumstances I should take this offer because that was probably the best they could do since they were offering me some kind of credit. Reluctantly I agreed. So they still won. The thing that pisses me off is of my own doing I should have known better.
