Also before you go around judging me, I did tell my children to be careful with the I POD touch. I told them to be gentle with them. After my youngest daughter (14) dropped the IPod from the balcany(accidentally) the menu/select key stopped working. Mostly teenagers use IPODS, they are just kids and careless. They should make these parts more durable. Just my bad luck that she dropped it after the warranty.

My kids have had their ipod touches for over 2 years, still working great nothing but a few screen scratches.

Even if she dropped it while it was under warranty, Apple would not replace. That is not a manufacture defect or part gone wrong. If your kids are going to be so careless with their stuff, buy them the cheap stuff. Unless you like doling out hundreds of dollars each year to replace their stuff.

So you eliminated the 8 hour drive but did not eliminated the 15 hour Black Friday drive from Tilden, Nebraska to Maysville, Kentucky.
