dear friend
I understand you are clearly upset with this company, but if you want to make an effective argument, please check your grammar and spelling so it is easier to understand your situation. It is very unclear, what you have written.
good luck!

They understand "money" though, cannot believe that they would have the gull to charge 4, 100$ for a call a week for 5-6 weeks to tell you what to do, then all the costs from what I was suppose to pay for that I thought that was coming from the amount that they put on my charge card, cannot believe people like that and Colby Dean to give me his cell phone number and office phone and said to call him ANYTIME, DAY OR NIGHT.
Told me to call him after I had 2 bids on ebay and that is what I did and when he found out that I had talked to a guy about a tax ID he got upset and told me call him the next day, asked him about the ebay(I never did it before and he was suppose to guide me through it that is why he told me to call him after 2 bids)he said again to call him tomorrow and hung up, I called his office and cell phone and left messages 3 times a day for a few days and got tired of him ignoring me like that and they don't want to refund my money?
They want a testimonial I will give them a good one and as far as Celia goes, tell her to go back to school and learn english. If there was the word "money " she would understand.Colby got mad because he wanted his company to make more money off of me that I didn't have, as it was I cancelled the one because I could not afford another 900.00 on my charge, then they offer to build me a site for a price. they knew that was all I had and could not charge anymore but they didn't care they wanted to charge more to build a site for me, and me pay for drop shipping etc, with what ? they took all that I had and knew it and hope that they are happy with themselves.

Sounds like EXACTLY the same thing that is happening to us!! EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with Advanced Learning Systems out of Orem, Utah!! They promise to "build a Web Site" ...for an ADDITIONAL PRICE... but then turn around and CLAIM that they ONLY said they would HELP you build a web site for say $1200-$1800 on top of the original investment of $4000-$5000 dollars ... which is as stated for about 6 lessons. And yes we were supposed to sell "5" items on eBay?! We were told that we weren't "eligible" for a refund. They just keep sucking you in and "promising additional services" for MORE & MORE MONEY.

Am checking with the BBB in Utah. Seems there have been several complaints.

RUN RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

something should be done to help the poor person from this type of theft, anyone out there have the GUTS to help, we deserve a refund and when they don't call back and all your calls go to their voice mail, something is very wrong and these poor excuse for human beings should answer for what they put people through.how can they live with themselves? They will have to answer for all that they have done to people in this life, never will make it to the next that is for sure, satin will welcome selfish hurtful people like that home where they belong.
For them not giving me a refund but giving me a lot of bull, that is so wrong, am 61 years old, still working and driving 70 miles a day round trip in all kinds of weather to and from work, was so desperite to get out and work from home to just get screwed, to take 4, 100 from a person for doing nothing and making them think that they would actually set things up only to find out that they don't pay for anything so what was all that money that they stole from me and colby you know you did wrong by me and you will answer for this as your company, will shout it to the roof tops of how you ignored all the calls when you thought that your company was not going to get anymore money out of me, well you can't, you took it all, live with it, now that I can't afford anything, thaniks for nothing but this is far from over, you don't want to make a woman made and hurt .credit my account

Go to the BetterBusinessBureau website for Advanced Learning Systems in Orem, Utah and FILE A COMPLAINT. They've had at least 3 since they started in 05/13/2010. (We're in the process of filing a complaint now!) Hopefully if enough victims file complaints we can get them to clean up their act and get REFUNDS. We ONLY had THREE DAYS to "request a refund" after they got our "initial investment". Then when my husband started asking about at least getting some of our money back ... they immediately OFFERED to "give" him ADDITIONAL & BETTER SERVICES "for a mere $1, 000-$2, 000 MORE"?! By the time I saw our credit card bills ... they had soaked us for over $8, 000!! AND YES, we're also SENIOR CITIZENS (and now my husband who is 67 w/a full knee replacement had to go back to work in the construction trades just to attempt to pay off the ADVANCED LEARNING SYSTEMS' DEBT!! He tosses & turns all night long with NIGHTMARES about being suckered by this company & I am very concerned for his health.)

You should also contact the ATTORNEY GENERAL IN YOUR STATE and tell them about your awful experiences with ADVANCED LEARNING SYSTEMS. I believe if they receive enough complaints about a company that they will investigate as well. I know some states have brought lawsuits against other similar outfits.

Too bad 60 Minutes or some other investigative news program doesn't do an expose on these types of scammers!! Again be sure to FILE A COMPLAINT with the BBB in Utah. I wish you the best in your efforts to right this injustice. We're in the same sinking situation.

Should also add that ADVANCED LEARNING SYSTEMS http://www.advlearning.com/ is THE SAME COMPANY as "THE COACHING DEPARTMENT" http://www.applyki.com/home http://www.applyki.com/about-us which appears to have been set-up **12/28/2011 (per the Utah BBB website)

BUT WAIT ... THEY ALSO GO (or WENT) by Apply Ki or APPLY KNOWLEDGE INSTITUTE http://www.complaintsboard.com/byurl/applyki.com.html from 2009 to hmmm perhaps May 2010?!

SAME COMPANY BUT AT LEAST THREE DIFFERENT NAMES AND ADDRESSES!!

**Really really hoping that ADVANCED LEARNING SYSTEMS isn't "preparing" to go the way of Fortune Learning Systems also located in UTAH ... aka Wholesale Match. com and a whole host of OTHER aliases?! http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/wholesale-matchcom-utah-c431023.html#c990201

"STARTING AN INTERNET BUSINESS: DREAM JOB OR PIPE DREAM?"

Starting an internet business can sound like a dream: work from home, set your own hours, be your own boss. But most Internet Startups require significant investments of time and money, and many of them fail. If you’re considering buying an internet business opportunity, know that the promise of big earnings and ideal work conditions is A PIPE DREAM FOR MOST. Regardless of the handful of stories you’ve read about college-age entrepreneurs turning into internet gazillionaires, there’s no such thing as a sure thing.

You may encounter pitches like “Start your own internet business;” “No experience required;” “EXPERTS AVAILABLE TO COACH YOU"(on a one on one basis) ... in a variety of places: on the Web and in e-mail offers, infomercials, classified ads, flyers, texts, telephone pitches, seminars, and direct-mail offers. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation’s consumer protection agency, says that MANY OF THESE SOLICITATIONS ARE SCAMS that promise more than they can possibly deliver. Often, bogus internet opportunity sales pitches are short on details and long on high-pressure tactics to persuade you to buy before you’ve investigated the offer.

SHORT ON DETAILS
An internet business is just like any business – it requires a solid business plan. Anyone who sells legitimate business opportunities should give you detailed information. Be skeptical of a seller who offers vague descriptions of what the business is and how it will work. Sit down and ask yourself some critical questions, like:
• What would you be selling or doing?
• How and why shoppers would find and use your website?
• How would the business generate income and what are your specific expenses?
ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU PAY ANY PROMOTER THE PRICE OF ADMISSION TO A BUSINESS!!

Some sellers claim you don’t need to understand the details of the business because “it’s the internet” or because their EXPERT COACHES AND SUPPORT STAFF WILL "TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING FOR YOU". The internet is not a magic place for business owners: an internet business success requires the same solid planning and hard work as in any other venture. It’s your business and your reputation; you can’t afford to be in the dark about key details.

LONG ON PRESSURE
SCAMMERS TRY TO CREATE THE IMPRESSION THAT IF YOU DON'T BUY IMMEDIATELY, YOU'RE GOING TO MISS OUT ON A VALUABLE OPPORTUNITY. THEY EMPHASIZE THE NEED TO ACT FAST AND MAY SUGGEST THAT OTHER BUYERS ARE READY TO TAKE YOUR PLACE IF YOU HESITATE OR ASK QUESTIONS. They want to persuade you to give up your credit card or bank account information before you’ve had time to research their claims or other people’s experiences with the company. THE SCAMMERS KNOW THAT IF YOU DO EVEN A LITTLE RESEARCH, YOU'RE LIKELY TO FIND REPORTS OF RIP-OFFS. in fact, a quick internet search often is enough to reveal alarming complaints. Legitimate business opportunities don’t need to use high-pressure sales tactics: if an offer is good today, it should be good tomorrow.

As part of their sales pitch, scammers often hype a “no risk” refund policy to encourage you to buy an opportunity before you’ve researched it. Here’s a tip: don’t rely on a refund policy or a money-back guarantee because you have “nothing to lose.” No matter the guarantee, SCAMMERS WILL MAKE IT VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!

BEFORE YOU BUY ANY BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY:
• Consider the promotion carefully.
• Study any disclosure documents. Under the Business Opportunity Rule, which is enforced by the FTC, many business opportunity promoters are required to provide a document to potential purchasers that includes information about the opportunity.
• Interview previous buyers in person. This helps reduce the chance of being misled by phony references.
• Do a few internet searches by entering the company name, or the name of the company’s CEO or president, and words like “COMPLAINTS" OR "SCAMS.”

Contact the State Attorney General's Office, Local Consumer Protection Agency, and Better Business Bureau, both where the business opportunity promoter is based and where you live, to see if complaints are on file. While a complaint record may indicate questionable business practices, A LACK OF COMPLAINTS DOESN'T NECESSARILY MEAN THE COMPANY – or the opportunity – IS LEGITIMATE. UNSCRUPULOUS DEALERS OFTEN CHANGE NAMES AND LOCATIONS TO HIDE A HISTORY OF COMPLAINTS.

• Consult an attorney, accountant, or other business advisor before you put any money down or sign any papers. Entering into a business opportunity can be costly, so it's best to have an expert check out the contract first.

REPORT POSSIBLE FRAUD
If you suspect a business opportunity promotion is fraudulent, report it to the Attorney General's Office in the state where you live and in the state where the business opportunity promoter is based.

You should also report it to the FTC. File a complaint online at ftc.gov or call toll free 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357).

IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT
The FTC works to prevent fraudulent, deceptive and unfair business practices in the marketplace and to provide information to help consumers spot, stop and avoid them.

If you feel you've been the victim of a scam by these TELEMARKETER OUTFITS - you can also contact the UTAH DIVISION OF CONSUMER PROTECTION.

http://www.dcp.utah.gov/complaints/manual.html

Per the Utah Division of Consumer Protection Website -
Among the TOP TEN CONSUMER COMPLAINTS -
*COACHING SERVICES* IS NUMBER 2 ON THEIR LIST!!

http://www.dcp.utah.gov/scams/topten.html

2) *COACHING SERVICES*:
When a consumer purchases a business opportunity, it is not uncommon for the seller or one of its associates to follow up and offer the purchaser coaching services to make the business opportunity more profitable. These services tend to cost many thousands of dollars more than the purchase of the original business opportunity. Some of the deceptive practices common to this type of complaint are the MISREPRESENTATION OF POTENTIAL EARNINGS AND THE QUALIFICATIONS OR EXPERIENCE OF THEIR COACHES. THEY OFTEN ENCOURAGE CONSUMERS TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES THAT THE COMSUMERS CANNOT BENEFIT FROM.

Don't believe that ADVANCED LEARNING SYSTEMS IS A *TELEMARKETER*?!

Here's some more awfully interesting information:

http://whodomainis.com/index.php?domain=advlearning.com

KEN SONNENBERG = ADVANCED LEARNING SYSTEMS aka APPLY KNOWLEDGE INSTITUTE aka eVERTEX SOLUTIONS and heaven only knows how many OTHER "ALSO KNOWN AS" dating at least as far back as 2001!!! (In fact, these guys make Sybil look normal.)

HOWEVER, IT APPEARS THE LATEST SOON TO BECOME BRAND NEW "AKA" ALIAS IS THE GRAND DEBUT OF "THE COACHING DEPARTMENT" LAUNCH (whose "new" website looks a heck of a lot like the "old" website?!)

KEN SONNENBERG = THE COACHING DEPARTMENT and you only have to do a search of the above *Companies* here on the Complaints Board to read all the horror stories about APPLY KNOWLEDGE INSTITUTE http://www.applyki.com/

http://www.prweb.com/releases/ken-sonnenberg/the-coaching-department/prweb8813670.htm

LOL gotta luv those *PR* ppl ... busy little worker bees ... not too creative tho

You'd think you could find at least one of those "swell write-ups" in The Daily Herald though. You know the LOCAL NEWSPAPER.

So before you *invest* any money - you should definitely "READ ALL ABOUT IT" both here on the Complaints Board and also on the Ripoff Report.

Be aware of Who or WHAT you're dealing with.

WOW - How many companies is this guy, KEN SONNENBERG into?! Or actually the real question is HOW MANY NAMES for the SAME COMPANY have these guys created or *morphed into"?!

www.esolutionscoaching.com

/link removed/

http://www.complaintsboard.com/?search=esolutions

www.theresultsnv.com

These guys have more *Names/akas* for the SAME *Company* than a leopard has spots.

AND STILL DIGGING. Will write up a NEW REVIEW WARNING as soon as even more *ICEBERGS* have been spotted!!

If anyone out there has any MORE NAMES for this/these *Company(ies)* - please post.

Am still checking to see if there is a link to IVY CAPITAL and FORTUNE LEARNING SYSTEMS?! ALL these Outfits seem to travel in packs. What is the old adage - Birds of a feather flock together.

Really have to ask yourself - WHY does a *nice honest* *Business/Company* have soooo many different Names not to mention Addresses (hmm do they not pay their rent or what)?!?!
