Scam
We were in Phuket mid June 2012 and were approached by a lady on a scooter with scratch cards for Asbolute product. We went through the whole presentation and were shown 3 beautiful places that was supposedly how we could in future vacation. The sales consultant told us that this membership was an Exclusive Members only package not like our Holiday Club which we already have. We were very sceptical of this whole sales pitch and my son immediately did some research after hearing that we were interested in this exclusive offer. We paid our deposit and received and Ipad and spa voucher but we were very unsettlet about this whole deal. We attended our dinner with the sales consultant and our whole family had their say and the sales consultant was sweating, hands shaking and very agitated to say the least. He just kept on trying to show us anything that he could to support what we had queried. We told him that we had read a lot of negative things on the internet about them scamming people. He had answers to everything. We returned to South AFrica and did some investigation and research one being to see if we could get a booking in the "Exclusive Members Only resorts" and we could instantly and at a 40% cheaper rate than the supposed holiday package they offered. We sent an email to say that what was sold to us is fraudulent misrepresentation. We will not continue with this deal even though we have been emailed to say they will take legal action.

Absolute-Destinations
Kicking ourselves that we signed with Absolute. Don't know what we were thinking. Thought the company would benefit us as we like to travel. Trying to book accomodation for March & april 2013 in Malaysia and Thailand. Can you believe there is nothing available. Except an ugly hotel in Malaysia that is part of their exchange partner which is not even on their website and not only that I need to find accomodation for 1 night outside of the program because I have to check out of the malaysian hotel by the 5th April and check in to the Phuket hotel on the 6th april so I have no where to sleep. We are a family of 5 with 3 young kids. We have been scammed big time. There are so many nice places to travel to but absolute don't offer those destinations so you have to settle for whatever. Be aware. I will be making a complaint and seeking legal representation.
